"There's a New World Coming" is an excellent verse by verse explanation of the book of Revelation. It is a must read for anyone who would like to know more about bible prophecy. Hal lists every verse, and then explains them in concise and easy to understand language. Drawing on the work of earlier eminent bible scholars and his own study of this subject, Hal has written a masterpiece. Everything is explained: the letters to the seven churches and their meaning for modern Christians, the rapture of the church, the dreaded beasts of the latter days, the rise of the antichrist, the Whore of Babylon, Christ's return, the millennial kingdom, the last judgement, and the holy city of New Jerusalem. This book also explains the more difficult to understand details which are often overlooked by Christians. Who were the Nicolatians? Who was Antipas, described by Christ to St. John as "my witness, my faithful one...?" What is the hidden manna, and what is the white stone with a new name that will be given to those who are faithful? Many people wonder what heaven looks like. The picture of this wondrous place painted by St. John so long ago is eloquently explained. This is truly one of the best written and insightful books about the bible that I've ever read, and it is exciting as these events could happen at anytime. It's a great read.

"There's a New World Coming" is the first Hal Lindsey book I ever read and is the book that inspired me to learn all I could about Bible prophecy. This book is more up-to-date than the newspaper headlines of tomorrow! In this book, Lindsey provides a concise, in-depth, professional analysis of the book of Revelation in the Bible, taking the reader into a future beyond technology - a future of spiritual rebirth and eternal glory. Lindsey's commentary is based upon careful research and follows the details given in Revelation with uncanny accuracy. This book convincingly reveals the book of Revelation as being what it is - an astonishing timetable for man's ultimate destiny. I strongly reccomend this book to anyone, Christians and atheists alike. For the Christian reader, this book will inspire you to set your priorities straight and live for God with all your strength. For the atheistic reader, this book will cause you to consider your eternal destiny seriously. 5 stars.

Hal Lindsey is a master at keeping you on the edge of your seat as he unfolds the prophecies revealed in Revelation. This book makes Revelation come to life in perfect detail. A must read for anyone interested in understanding Revelation and unlocking the mysteries of this fascinating final book of the Bible.

There's A New World Coming Is an excellent Line by Line explanation and cometary of the Book of Revelation. It is a great book to help anyone who want's to understand the book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ Better. Remember that there is a blessing in this Book which states that anyone who continues to read the Book Of the revelation Of Jesus Christ will continue to receive Blessings. And it is important I feel to also read some commentaries on it as well as seeking the Holy Spirit to bring us a better understanding of the book. Hal does a nice job of tying in many of the Old and New Testaments Prophecies, with Revelations, so we get a cleaner picture of what the text means. Hal also try's to extrapolate how these prophecies may come true today, and what some of the more cryptic verses may mean. I would urge everyone to read this book, ill regardless of what there religious beliefs are, and look at the world around us. See how the world powers are lining up as predicted (Europe forming into a cohesive unit, Russia lining up with the Muslim Nations, China with an army of 200,000,000); see how the condition of man is exactly as described of man at the end of this age (Lovers of pleasure, haters of God...); Seems like the Apostle John (And all the Bible Prophet's) Had it right over 2000 years ago. Its time to get right with God; And its easy to get right eith GOD; Change you mind (repent self righteousness) and admit your sin, look to Jesus and what he did at the crucifixion for us (his death was for all our sins) ask him into your life and accept Him as your GOD, Lord and Savior.

Not only has Hal Lindsey written a commentary that makes the Book of Revelation easier to understand than ever before, he also throws in touches that make it read like an adventure story! This is one of my favorite books!

I read this book years ago and it is very thought provoking.
This book will encourage you, as it did me, to get back into Revelation and study for yourself the predictions that were made so long ago. You just have to look around at what has happened in this world, just over the last 50 years and see prophecy being fulfilled. Todays world is no exception to the rule.
This book turned my Agnostic husband to the cross about 30 years ago. This is an excellent book for christian and nonchristian alike.

This is a MUST READ in order to understand the present Middle East situation.

I recall reading this in college, and it is just as impressive now!

This is a simple, easy to read book for those interested in the Book of Revelation. It is pre-millennial, that is, Lindsey believes the Rapture occurs before the Great Tribulation.

If you want a more practical book on Revelation, or one for teenagers, I would HIGHLY recommend: "Dragons, Grasshoppers, & Frogs" by Jerry L. Parks, Weekly Reader Press. This book is much more daily-life oriented.

Along with "Late Great Planet Earth", these books are about as simple as you'll find on this subject. The Great White Thone description still gives me goosebumps. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

One of the first and still one of the best studies in Revelation, Lindsy's study is still well worth reading. If you're interested in a novel which explores these themes with intellegence and insight, I'd avoid Left Behind and instead, buy Brian Caldwell's We All Fall Down, the best novel on Revelation ever written.

This book is an in-depth analysis about the book of revelations. It is by far the best book i've read concerning revelation. Hal made it easy to understand the descriptions of the passages found in revelation. He takes the chapters one at a time, and one verse at a time, and explains his interpertations of what they mean, then leaves it to your discretion as to what and how you will believe on the subject.

Its very informative and a good companion to the bible for study purposes on the book of revelation.
