5.0 out of 5 stars BEST!
FIEND has 3 albums, this one, Street Life, and his first album Won't Be Denied. Anyway, this is my favorite No Limit album. the best songs are AT ALL TIMES, BIG TIMERS, THE STREETS AIN'T SAFE, DO YOU KNOW & THE BADDEST. so go cop this album. (but my all time favorite album is TEAR DA CLUB UP THUGS- CRAZYnDAlazDAYZ)

3.0 out of 5 stars There's One in Every Family
One of the top No Limit to ever hit the shelves, Fiend's "There's One in Every Family" hits hard from beginning to end. Tracks like "Take My Pain" , "Who Got the Fire" and "The Baddest" show Fiend's versatility and showcase how he uses his gruff voice to varying degrees to show different types of emotion. The standout track, the UGK assisted "Slangin'", hits hard like...

5.0 out of 5 stars This cd gets 5 stars instead of 4, March 9, 2001
This review is from: There's One in Every Family (Audio CD)
In my last review of this cd, I gave it 4 stars. But after listening to it more and more, I realized how tight it was and I just had to give it 5 stars. Take My Pain is probably the best song on it, but there's A LOT more great tracks on here, like the catchy For The N.O., Going Out With A Blast, At All Times, Only A Few, Big Timer, Do You Know?, Whatcha Mean, All I Know, Who Got That Fire, Walk Like A "G", The Streets Ain't Safe, and Slangin, among others. This is a classic album from the Dirty South, so pick up your copy today!

5.0 out of 5 stars TOP 3 IN THE NO LIMIT FAMILY, March 21, 2006
This review is from: There's One in Every Family (Audio CD)
FIEND AND THIS ALBUM ARE BOTH IN THE TOP 3 OF THE NO LIMIT FAMILY. FIEND,MAC,AND SOULJA SLIM ARE THE TOP 3 MC'S FOR NO LIMIT. C-MURDER, SILKK THEY ARE COOL TO BUT, THE OTHER THREE ARE THE BEST (IN MY OPINION ) FIEND IS ONE OF THE FEW RAPPERS ON NO LIMIT THAT CAN DO THE ALBUM ALL BY HIM SELF. THIS ALBUM IS IN THE TOP 3 OF THE NO LIMIT ALBUMS. MAC'S SHELL SHOCKED, AND SOULJA SLIMS ALBUMS COME CLOSE. IT'S A COIN TOSS. THIS ALBUM KICKS ASS, FROM START TO FINISH...IT HAS GREAT BEATS, AWESOME LYRICS, FIEND'S VOICE SOUNDS ORIGIONAL...AND EVEN THO HE DOESN'T NEED THEM THE GUEST RAPPERS JUST ADDS TO THIS ALBUM. THIS IS THE ALBUM TO GET AT ANY PRICE. HIS SECOND ALBUM IS O.K. BUT THIS IS THE ONE...IF YOU FIND IT DON'T EVER LET IT GO.

4.0 out of 5 stars Much better than Street Life!, July 31, 2000
This review is from: There's One in Every Family (Audio CD)
Fiend's No Limit debut album "There's One In Every Family" is MUCH better than his disappointing 1999 album "Street Life"! The best song on the album is Take My Pain but other good songs on it include Going Out With A Blast, Do You Know?, Big Timer, Who Got The Fire, I Swore, All I Know, The Streets Ain't Safe, Only A Few, The Baddest, Slangin', Walk Like A "G", and Do You Wanna Be A Rider! All No Limit fans go pick this up if you have Street Life and were disappointed with it!

4.0 out of 5 stars There's One in Every Record Company, December 12, 1999
This review is from: There's One in Every Family (Audio CD)
Excellent new effort by contributing rapper has an attitude that would work independantly. Includes the single, "TAKE MY PAIN" featuring MASTER P, SONS OF FUNK, and SILKK THE SHOCKER, "ON A MISSION" featuring C-MURDER and STEADY MOBB'N, and "WHATCHA MEAN?" featuring SOULJA SLIM, KANE & ABEL, and MAC. Other No Limit rappers guest and if you don't have this compact disc yet, I strongly suggest making it yours.

5.0 out of 5 stars Possibly one of my favorite CDs of all time, December 17, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: There's One in Every Family (Audio CD)
I have been looking for this CD for about 6 years off and on. After listing to it again I realized it one of my favorites the rang of Fiend's delivery along with the production and guest (some of the guess could have gone uninvited) combines to create something i can listen to for every mood. When I'm late to work "Going out with a blast" pulling out of the parking lot on a Friday afternoon "Slangin'" or for the few relaxing drives I take "We Survivors", "What Cha Mean" do the trick.

Poor customer service. Emailed the seller at least 3x to check on whether or not it had shipped, and was never told a thing. Never got the product and order was never fulfilled. Disappointing experience and will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

The standout track, the UGK assisted "Slangin'", hits hard like most of the album, but is put over the top by Pimp C and Bun B's Texas drawl complimenting the No Limit soldier's hard rhymes. The only detractor on this album is the fact that so many guests take away additional verses from the star of the album. Very good album overall.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Album, May 30, 2006

Hauntedblack (Carlsbad California) - See all my reviews
This review is from: There's One in Every Family (Audio CD)
This is a great album. I only skip about 2 songs on this album. This cd has hustler raps, gangster raps and personal/introspective tracks. My favorite tracks are Live Me Long and Take My Pain. This cd has great production and good guest features. There are maybe a bit too many features but its all good. Some other Great songs are All I Know and I Swore. Cop this album, you will not be dissapointed. Read the reviews, sample some tracks and then order it.

5.0 out of 5 stars No Limit Top 5 Album, November 19, 2005
This review is from: There's One in Every Family (Audio CD)
This was released in No Limits glory days, but is one of the few albums you could still listen to without being called hot. From start to finish this album is a classic. The style Fiend brought to the game could never be duplicated. One of the few artist worth listening to.
