I took a chance on buying this CD for a show I had never heard of, and I am so glad I did! It's as if Dorothy Gale from the Wizard of Oz were taking a tour through the history of Hollywood, being helped by all the great stars of different eras. One suggestion, play the second song first, and then the first one.

When I read a review by someone, I'm always curious about what other shows they've liked (or didn't like) to see how similar (or disimilar!) our tastes are. Some other musicals I've enjoyed include House of Flowers, Grass Harp, Avenue Q, Wicked, Mata Hari, Dear World, Her First Roman, Saratoga, Brimstone, Paint Your Wagon, Destry Rides Again, 110 in the Shade, Kwamina, Christine, Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, The Life, The Full Monty, Prettybelle, Little Mary Sunshine, Purlie and Camalot.

Some I didn't like include Bajour, Subways Are For Sleeping, The Seussical, St. Louis Woman, Applause, Greenwillow, The Golden Apple, Big River, Sweet Charity and Urinetown.

This was a little show that should have been bigger! If given a chance...and not affected by 9/11....I would like to believe it would Still be running, and enchanting audiences for years!
Sadly, I never saw this production, even though I was living in L.A. at the time! Believe me, I am kicking myself for missing it...as I only know it from this recording, and from reading about its creation by the genius behind the music, Wayne Moore.
You Must check out his Journal...[...]which is almost like being there to witness the birth, life and, sadly, the death of this clever, witty and just plain Fun show!
To give you an idea of how impressed I am with this show...I was beginning to write a book about my years in the Entertainment Industry, and this album caught my eye...I changed the entire concept for the start of my book, and This became its new beginning chapter!
I even contacted Wayne Moore, who shared a few stories from the stage, and backstage! My biggest delight was after I created a little Youtube video tribute to the show....[...]Wayne told me that someone who had been a part of the original production also saw the video, and now wants to produce the show once again!
Like the song says...'Once Again I'm in Love!'
You will thoroughly enjoy this one-of-a-kind musical fantasy.
