I bought this book for my grandson and he loved it so much that I had to buy him the other two in the series. I also read it and was amazed how much I liked a book written for pre-teens. The imagination the author has is wonderful and there seems to be a message that it's okay to be different from the norm - something that is too seldom addressed in today's world.

The Star-Fighters of Murphy Street Series is quite enjoyable! Adventureous with a good message about finding something special in yourself even if you think you're different. Read them before giving to some of my favorite kids. Will buy more and be on my gift list for pre-teens and young teens.

As a Third grade teacher I previewed all three of The Star-fighters of Murphy Street books. I enjoyed them so much I gave the first book to each child in my class as a reward for filling the reading chart. The morning I gave them the book they started reading them immediately and were so involved they did not want to stop to go to the final Awards assembly. I was confident that I was giving them an exciting book that boys or girls would enjoy and learn more of how God uses us in the circumstances we are in.
