This review is from: Therm-a-Rest Toughskin Sleeping Pad (Apparel)
I am 6'2" tall and weight 215 lbs. Sleeping pad is wide enough and long enough to sleep on. Own a Marmot sleeping bag which did not slide from pad even when sleeping on a terrain with a slope. Side sleeper, no high pressure points. material very durable. Using chair converter when not sleeping on it. Holds air very well, very comfortable seating pad . The longer you keep it inflated under your bed the better it performs when needed in the great outdoors, it is called memory foam for a good reason!. GOOD or BAD; Very warm when used in combination with foam pad. Test it in your back yard and find a good conbination such as: with or w/o ground foam pad, silk or cotton sleeping bag insert, warm or cold temperature sleeping bag, and so on. Drawback: heavy and bulky. I still give it a 5 star rating because it is very comfortable for side sleepers and for back pain problems. I knew it was going to be heavy and bulky but rather have a few extra pounds of gear than not being able to get a good night sleep or out of my tent due to a spasm/sore back <happened to me once in the backcountry, imagine not being able to move for three hours>.
