Alright, I've finally got my new rig up and running with the running to an OCed FX-9370. At 4.4 stock GHz the CPU stays between 23-29 degrees celsius during most tasks, and doesn't even hit 40 when OCed to 4.7GHz. The product feels rather sturdy all around, and not unreliable like the corsair hydros which are known for leaking. I'd say for an all in one/beginner water cooling system that this is the best on the market, and even more so if you looking to overclock...the highest temp I've hit at 4.7GHz was 38.4degrees celsius. Basically when idle or doing basic tasks it stays around 17.9 degrees celsius, 23-29 on lower multimedia related things as well as a lot of gaming...the only time it really hits up to the 30 degree range is on benchmarks in games...if you have it set to ultra settings. If you run the heaven benchmark you will see up to 50, but that's only because it is a really punishing benchmark. No leaks no issues...as always Thermaltake has made yet another solid/reliable cooling source...the guy giving it a low rating didn't even use it, so ignore him.

Update! Still works amazingly, and still holding the above temps at a stable 4.9GHz OC!

I have noticed an issue by the way with 8 and 8.1 when it comes to installing the SW lately, so the on disc stuff might not install. So, go here "[...]" if you're having the issue, and dl the sw update...that will work.

Very happy with the product, I'm using it on AMD FX 8350 @ 5.0GHz estable. Little noise the fans but no big deal.
The packing was perfect, all protected. Highly recomended!

It has been a while since I upgraded my rig or checked sensors. One day I realized my CPU is running at 80+C. That had something to do with the thermal paste and the cooling. So I ordered both and it was time to upgrade to water cooling that I always wanted. After looking at reviews and knowing Thermaltake brand and that it suits my LGA 1155 I went ahead and purchased it.
I agree with the rest about the how Thermaltake could have better pics and explanations on how to mount this baby, it'd have been much easier, but in the end it won't take you more than an hour.
Be aware though, I had to take the motherboard out since you need to attach some piece at the back as well, which means taking most cards out...
I do not hear any fan noise and my cpu is at 33C even during gaming it didn't past beyond 40C on a warm day.
Definitely must buy item.

New install with all new parts.
FX 8350
Sabertooth 990FX Rev 2.0

The fans rev at max (1500) RPM. I've ordered after market 120 mm replacement fans (will try both Noctua and Cougar Vortex). The idle temp is ~35 C which is acceptable based on the various reviews. But none of the review sites dwell on the noise factor. Even the user reviews that mention solutions to the noise underestimate the degree of discomfort. it truly is not acceptable to have such a loud product in this day and age.
Installation instructions pictorial was also of limited help. Need a lot of patience and time.

I will try to salvage this purchase because the cooling appears to be good but i'm not holding my breath.

Pros: Does the job, it makes your CPU 50-60% cooler. I measured the temperature before and after.

Cons: This thing is large, with the two fans and the radiator it almost reaches the CPU leaving no space for the hoses, I almost had to sacrifice one memory slot because how the hoses connect to the sink.
Instructions are inaccurate and basically useless, I had to force this thing down to make it stick.

Unfortunately, most manufacturers don't post a recommended maximum CPU power for their coolers so a lot of the negative comments to me seem like they bought too small a cooler for the CPU they were intending to use on it, then they complain the fans are too loud or don't cool the CPU enough.

Based on the reviews and my experience, I'd say if you have a CPU under 95Watts and don't mind the noise, the single fan is probably fine for you. If you have more than 95Watt CPU and/or really care about the noise get the 2 fan version. It is good enough to allow some good overclocking headroom as well. Otherwise, if you are overclocking an AMD 93xx definitely get the 3 fan. That's my suggesting starting points, your mileage may vary.

I have an 8320 build without overclocking and the previous Water 2.0 Extreme. I almost never hear the fans and the house has to be dead quiet for me to notice them. During gaming I usually have open back headphones (AKG FTW!) and never ever hear the fans, and they are blowing straight up towards me. I barely looked at the directions and did not install software.

I can highly recommend the Extreme version for an 8320 which has a 125W maximum draw, and will undoubtedly be overclocking with it soon.

The Best!!!! The CPU temperature is lower than the motherboard temperature! Only 8 degrees over the ambientale temperature. I am very satisfied!
