Great product. Its silent for sure, and it connected to my AM2 socket in a matter of seconds. Remarkable quality and looks cool too. Sure beats the OEM heat sink it replaced. My CPU temps dropped a few degress since I installed the Silent 939. Very pleased with this product and it is a winner for sure!

This is a great cooler, it is very quiet, and runs without drawing attention to itself from the noise, even at full CPU load. It install easily without any motherboard clips and gizmos, and without requiring you to use so much force to install it that you are afraid you will break your MB. It's not the prettiest cooler out there, but it can't be beat for noise/cooling capabilities.

This is one towering big cooler. I like the oversize fan (fairly quiet)and I think the cooler looks cool also. However on my motherboard, MSI K9N SLI Platinum, the cooling pipes block DIMM Slot 1 so I can only use slots 2 and 4 for 2 channel memory. Not a huge issue as I'm running 2 x 1GB PC-8000 in DIMM 1 & 2 and that is plenty of RAM for me now.

I bought this a year ago and put it in my at the time new rig. Worked great until about July my computer starting getting real hot, then it started overheating. Turns out all the thermal gel had been burned up. And I put plenty on there. Anyway I do alot of video gaming and was thinking about getting a liquid cooling system to replace this ancient technology. Three stars because the supplied thermal gel only lasted 5 months.

I bought this fan for a little bit of silence and it was just as loud as the retail version that came with the chip. The size of the fan was a little smaller so I kept it but if you are looking for a few less decibels then get a new case.

What can I say....it's a heatsink with a fairly quiet fan. It's not silent, and it doesn't bring my cpu down to room temperature, but it works well.
I'd give it five stars if I'd had it for more than a month...we'll see how it sounds by the end of the year.

A very impressive piece of machinery. Quiet and works great, I don't think there's better for the money.
