The fan is a standard one, but the look of the fan is very nice. When the computer is running and the fan is spinning, the blue led lights look like miniature flamethrowers! The noise of the fan is a little higher than it needs to be, but it is not very noticeable compared to the CPU fan.

The case itself is fairly sturdy, but the side of the case is too easy to open and too hard to close. If you lose the screw or are frequently opening your case, like I do, you will find this case slightly annoying at times. It is not a deal breaker in my opinion, and for such a low price, it is a good deal.

The space usage is pretty good. I enjoyed installing the motherboard for the most part, and the drive bays have easy access. The one annoyance I have to point out is the initial install of the DVD drive bay was very confusing. The front of the case has covers on each slot, and it is not very easy to remove a cover. I broke one of the covers trying to get it off!

The top drive bay also gets in the way of the top fan slot, so you cannot use both at the same time. The power supply area is at the bottom, which is great for heat dispersal and cord management, but some large power supply units may not fit in this box due to the design of the groove in which the unit sits. I barely fit mine into it, and I had to struggle with it for about five minutes.

Overall, everything fits fairly well into this case, and the design is fairly nice-looking, and I like the fan. However, there are many small annoyances which may keep me from recommending this case for a hardcore PC gamer or anyone who wants to install extra fans or an extra large power supply.

For 50 USD I really expected more of a conventional case. But this product really overachieved my expectations... It's really easy to setup and the fan included has nice leds and it's actually silent. Due to it's many vent holes in the superior surface, it might be a dust catcher but it's design is really nice and functional. It doesn't even need screws to keep the Hard drives and other units in place! Five Stars! Worth the money!

Replaced NXZT Gamma case with this one. Any time I opened the NZXT I told myself I had to get a new case. Finally bought this one, and am glad I did. Very simplistic design, no bells and whistles. Just a good solid case. It was a breeze transferring all components to this case. Plenty of room for my MSI R6950 Twin Frozr III 1G/OC Radeon HD 6950 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card.

One down side is I can't fit my old case fans, or even the one that came with the case, on the top mounts. My memory slots are too close to the mount and they won't fit.

If you're looking for a nice simple case, that will hold a larger gaming card as well as several drives, buy this one.

UPDATE:

After using this for a month I've found the airflow to be horrible. I put fans in all open slots, and my pc still ran hotter than my old case. Ended up buying Cooler Master HAF 912 Mid Tower ATX Case (RC-912-KKN1)

I have a friend who spent $179. on a mid tower case for his super gamer PC...it doesn't have any of the features that this $39.(after rebate)case does. No screws for all your drives, little levers hold everything in place, plenty of space for extra case fans(keeps it cooler), and with the PSU on the bottom, it's not top heavy. Simply efficient! But his has lots of LED lights! Yours can too, just buy fans with the LEDs built in(they're on Amazon)....and it has a removable plastic window right where my (larger than the case) CPU cooler goes...fits perfectly

Got this to build a mid price gaming system for my son. Gigabyte 990FX mobo, 955BE @ 3.6,8GB DDR3-1600, 120GB Vertex3, 1TB WD Black, GTX 560Ti, LG Blu-ray, 750W Corsair modular PSU, CM-212. Case holds everything with enough space to add a second GPU if needed, as others have said very little space for cable management. Recommend adding 120mm rear fan, helps cooling. Not enough space from memory modules/CM-212 to install top fans, make sure PSU is installed with intake on the bottom of case so it will draw cool air from outside. I didn't install the side fan as the GPU does not get pass 52C under load, if SLI later i'll install it to help cool the dual GPUs.

I like this case but, I was trying to install the motherboard, and the only way I could get it in and line it up with the screw holes was to leave the I/O shield off completely. It has a lot of places for fans, which is a plus. I like the screwless hard and optical drive hardware, pretty snazzy. I still haven't completely finished my build, but the case seems like it will do the trick.

The V4 is a big, handsome mid-tower case with several snazzy little extras, such as blue lights in front and back, a viewing window in the side so that you can look in and see your PC's components, and places on top, back and side to install cooling fans. It's billed as a "gamer's" system case, but at this price it's good for anything for budget to high-end systems. The side panel that you usually open to get at the computer's innards is very easy to open, with two thumb screws instead of the usual Phillips screws (the side panel on the other side does have Phillips screws). An innovation I particularly like is that screws are no longer necessary to fasten drives and other such devices in place; instead, "lock devices" are used which hold the drives securely in place. The power supply is positioned on the bottom of the case instead of its more usual location at the top, which makes it easier to manage cables on the outside and also provides ballast to keep the case steady. The case is exceptionally roomy inside, and it's easy to maneuver to install or remove components. With 4 5.25" external bays, 5 3.5" bays (one external, four internal) and one internal 2.5" bay, there's more-than-ample room for expansion as long as you have enough power cables and SATA drive cables!

Contrary to the unfortunate experience reported by "joker" a while back, I have found the V4 quite sturdy so far. I experimented by putting my hand on the top of the case and pressing down hard, and by placing a USB flash drive into the front hub, and neither of the bad results reported in the other review happened. I can only conclude that "joker" must have gotten a badly-made case, because mine is first-rate.
