Supported my extended motherboard with perfect clearance.

All in all, even though it is bigger than I originally wanted, the case is so good that the size is not an issue.

Whatever though, I put a spare NZXT blue LED light strip in there which works way better than the fan lights.

I bought this to replace an aging Lian-Li PC-V1000Z case. The Lian-Li is awesome and light and pretty amazing. It does not have a lot of room for water-cooling or higher air cooled CPU (limit is around 160mm or so). The 71 has a ton of options and a lot of space. Routing cables for better airflow and maneuvering around the case is very easy. The drive cage can be configured very easily. The case is heavy, though, since it's not aluminum. I only have one issue with the case - after fitting the AX360 and a Photon D5 reservoir, there wasn't a lot of room left for more than 4 drives (3 in the cage and 1 hanging on the back) plus you can't use the second 5.25"slot because a long 3x120mm fan reservoir will block a full length 5.25" bay - so you have to take out the drive cage for it. That means no use for the 2nd slot - no fan controller, no SD slot, etc, unless you give up the top 5.25" bay. Otherwise, it's a great case. Great airflow. Ambient temps went from 38C in the Lian Li to 23C in the 71. Pretty huge delta. The removal of cabling really helped in airflow plus the addition of the 3x200mm fans to help move things around. No issues with other devices fitting, either. A Corsair AX1200i fits easily inside the case. One star off for not having some alternative for making the 2nd 5.25" bay usable. Oh, you also cannot use a full height 5.25" bay reservoir for water cooling in this case unless you put it in the floor of the case.

Pros

This fan has more room than one can imagine. The built in fans are nearly silent and look very nice with the blue LED. I read review after review and cannot find one thing wrong with this case. I am running a corrsair H80i water cooler, 1000w PSU, radeon r9 290, and still have room for whatever else I want.

Running wires could never be easier with this case. Nearly all my wire are ran behind the wall that the mother board sits on. If you are looking to hide as many wires as you can, this case does not disappoint.

If you are looking for a Water Cooler that mounts in the back, the small fan from the case can easily mount to the second slot on the top.

Cons

Only con I would give this case is if you want two optical drives. The very top slot is in the way of the second top mount fan if you want one.

All in all, this case delivers if you are looking for a true gaming case with plenty of options and customization.

Pros: BIG case with lots of room
Great air Cooling potential with 4x200mm fans, 2x120mm fans, 1x140mm fan
Looks awesome
Big side panel to show off your custom build
Lots of dust filters included to help keep everything clean
Cons: A bit pricey
I had to drill out a few holes on top to fit my aftermarket 200mm fans on top
This case is awesome. I got it for my new gaming PC build. I put a Gigabyte GTX 770 and had inches to spare without moving my HDD rack. And that's a big GPU. I put two 200mm fans on top+ the Corsair H100i liquid CPU cooler. Everything fit fine. This case has supreme air movement and keeps the whole system at cool temps. Dust filters on the bottom, front, and top help keep PC clean. The case is very sturdy. BIG clear side panel window is great to show off my build. I highly recommend this case to anyone interested in buying.

This case was everything I wanted. I was worried that it may have a cheap plastic or poor look, but it had a smooth, clean, polished metal look. Great fan and radiator support. This case really breathes, I was not only able to install the 4 extra fans for a total of 7 case fans but also fit my 240mm liquid cooling radiator and its fans under the two top 200mm fans with no problems. Supported my extended motherboard with perfect clearance. Easy install of 2.5 inch SSD drives. It was worth every penny. Very modular, simple to configure, easy and beautiful.

Great case. Although, is a good idea to read and measure dimensions before hand, this case is MASSIVE. Tons of airflow, just about silent. Great cable management, quality materials and construction. There are a few annoyances, such as not being able to use the top optical drive bay if another 200mm fan is installed on the top, the two 120mm fans are hard to mount on the bottom because of the case's feet.

All in all, even though it is bigger than I originally wanted, the case is so good that the size is not an issue.

Arrived fairly quick, and this thing is HUGE! Way bigger then I expected not that it's a bad thing. Only thing negative I can say so far is that it looked like it had a rough ride during shipping. Luckily it was packaged quite well so no damage was done to the case itself. 5 Stars for quality and speeed
