Thermaltake's Tsunami Dream series VA3000SWA tower computer case stands tall among available cases for its all-aluminum construction, silver mirror coating, ergonomic design, and top-notch ventilation. The tower accommodates Micro ATX (9.6 x 9.6 inches) and ATX (12 x 9.6 inches) motherboards. Its highly efficient ventilation encompasses dual 12 cm cooling fans with a fan holder in front (intake) and rear (exhaust); there's also a 9 cm fan on the side panel. The case's transparent X-type side-panel window even lets you show off your hardware. And, at a mere 13.2 pounds (without power supply), the chassis is incredibly lightweight.
The VA3000SWA houses 11 drive bays (4 x 5.25-inch and 2 x 3.5-inch external, plus 5 x 3.5-inch internal) and dual USB 2.0 ports, one IEEE 1394 FireWire port, and minijack ports for audio and speaker outputs. For your security, a chassis-intrusion detector sounds when the lockable side panel is opened unexpectedly.
Other features include a retractable foot stand, a front-panel 3-way key lock, a washable dust filter for easy cleaning and replacement (dust cloth supplied), thumb-screws for easy open side panel, screwless slots for easy assembling, and an EMI protection spring.
An optional but highly flexible Silent Purepower supply supports PS/II for PC cases.
