They are great. Easy to reuse over and over again. They hold at just the right temperature. Don't get stuck using a bag of frozen peas! Buy one of these packs!
I have... and at one point or another I purchased every one to "try a new one" whenever my ice packs went missing or were destroyed by sister, brother, pet, and roommate.
5 stars for the ice pack and 3 stars for the wrap that comes with it = 4 total.
Again - Simply the best ICE PACK I have used.
The wrap that comes with this is adequate but I can't recommend using it for icing (perhaps the heat but I haven't used this for that purpose.
I highly recommend purchasing this Ice pack (at walmart because it's $10 there) and another ice pack made by TruFit ( because the neoprene wrap that comes with the other one is a huge upgrade.
In the end you will have 2 ice packs and I recommend using the clay ice pack from this product in conjunction with the neoprene wrap from the TruFit product.
That gives you the best of both worlds.
If you don't want the best ice pack why are you spending money? You could always just use a bag of ice or frozen veggies.
If you don't want the best ice pack why are you reading the reviews?
A good alternative would be a Chattanooga Ice pack. They are used by physical therapists.
They also make a large wrap that can cover your entire back. I use the medium for spot application, and the large for more general relief in place of a heating pad.
