Product Description

The Thermo Scientific MEX126 bi-metallic dial thermometer has a temperature range of 0 to 300 degrees C, a 2.5" stem, and a 1" dial face. It is used for monitoring the top plate temperature on Thermo Scientific SAFE-T Explosion-Proof hot plates and stirring hot plates (sold separately). It measures temperature from 0 to 300 degrees C with an accuracy of + or - 3 degrees C. The 2.5" stainless steel probe measures 0.25" in diameter and it has a 1" dial face.

Stirring hot plates can stir a liquid solution by means of a stir bar that is spun magnetically inside the vessel holding the solution.
