Product Description

Amazon.com Review

With this ingenious device it's not necessary to acquire a complicated, steam-type cappuccino maker. Frothing milk for a caffe latte or cappuccino takes just seconds. Here's how it works: Pour up to a cup of either hot or cold milk into the creamer. (Milk can be heated by placing the creamer on a stovetop.) Place the lid on the creamer and grasp the lid's stay-cool plastic neck with one hand. Grasp the plastic ball atop the creamer in the other hand and move it up and down approximately 20 times. Hidden inside, a screen at the bottom of a rod attached to the ball forces air into the milk, creating froth. (Keep that principle in mind and think of creating frothy milkshakes, also.) To the top of the ball, the creamer stands 8-3/4 inches high. Made of stainless steel polished to a mirror finish, the creamer is dishwasher-safe. --Fred Brack

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Choice To Enjoy Your Cappuccino..., February 10, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Thermos Nissan 8-Ounce Stainless-Steel Cappuccino Creamer (Kitchen)
If you are really looking for a simple way to have some good cream on your cappuccino, here it is with this creamer. It's economic (compared to all those high tech espresso machines that froth milk), very simple to use (and it's no big deal to move the top up and down a few times), it provides all the cream you ask for, does not require constant care and repair like some complicated creamers and very easy to clean. I would say it's a good choice!

5.0 out of 5 stars Tons of thick, rich froth!, September 9, 2001
This review is from: Thermos Nissan 8-Ounce Stainless-Steel Cappuccino Creamer (Kitchen)
I bought a Villaware 275-06 Moka Express Espresso maker so I needed a frother for cappuccinos. After reading the review, I decided to give it a try. Let me say that this baby rocks! Makes really nice, thick froth in a short time. I really recommend it for people with the old fashioned espresso makers or coffee press owners. I'm really happy with my purchase.

It froths even fat-free milk! Have not tried to froth cold milk. I find that it takes more than the 20 recomended pumps to get it frothy like I like.
