Good Choice To Enjoy Your Cappuccino...,
By A Customer
This review is from: Thermos Nissan 8-Ounce Stainless-Steel Cappuccino Creamer (Kitchen)
If you are really looking for a simple way to have some good cream on your cappuccino, here it is with this creamer. It's economic (compared to all those high tech espresso machines that froth milk), very simple to use (and it's no big deal to move the top up and down a few times), it provides all the cream you ask for, does not require constant care and repair like some complicated creamers and very easy to clean. I would say it's a good choice!

I bought a Villaware 275-06 Moka Express Espresso maker so I needed a frother for cappuccinos. After reading the review, I decided to give it a try. Let me say that this baby rocks! Makes really nice, thick froth in a short time. I really recommend it for people with the old fashioned espresso makers or coffee press owners. I'm really happy with my purchase.

It froths even fat-free milk! Have not tried to froth cold milk. I find that it takes more than the 20 recomended pumps to get it frothy like I like.

I love this little gadget! First, I love the results. Pour milk into the pitcher -- heat on the stove -- (unless you want cold froth--and I often do) -- pump the handle up and down 20-25 times -- wait a minute -- and lift out the thick and fluffy frothed milk. Second, I love the fact that there's no electricity involved. With my little Bialetti Moka Express and this gem, I could make cappuccino on a campfire! AND, as living overseas has meant that all of my electrical gadgets have to be run through a transformer, I really appreciate the fact that there's no plug! Also, considering that the price of this milk frother is what you'd spend in less than 2weeks with a Starbuck's habit, it's a great value!

This is great...I would heat the milk in the microwave to about 160F in order to avoid scaulding it on the stove. I usually pump about 50 times...the more the better:)

I bought the Nissan Creamer to supplement my Bodum Espresso Pot. The great thing with the Nissan Creamer is that I can heat the milk gently whilst my Bodum Espresso Pot is being heated on the stove. By the time the Espresso is ready the milk is heated to just the right temperature. The froth is certainly as rich as anything I have seen from any other approach. Cleaning this device is also easy, particularly when compared to the steamer devices.

I thought this item was priced a bit high but it was worth the cost. It makes the yummiest, richest froth ever. It works so much better than the steamer we were using before and it is a lot simpler. I prefer heating my milk in pyrex first then forthing in this. I find heating milk on the stove top too time consuming and too easy to scorch. Highly recommended.

I've used this product for 6 months now and I'm very happy with it. Pour in a cup of cold milk (I use whole milk), put it on the stove for a couple minutes, pump the plunger up and down about 20 - 30 times and you've a nice think froth for lattes and cappuccinos. Clean up is quick since there are only two parts. It's a quality product that should last a long time -- and no batteries are required!

Easily makes a nice creamy froth for a reasonable price. I would give it a higher rating if the metal was thicker on the bottom. Milk scorches easily and makes this pot tough to clean if you don't keep a close eye on it while heating.

I hesitated to purchase this due to the price, but its quality well worth paying for, this is not a cheaply made product. Made in Italy. Best frothed milk I have ever had at home....hot....cold....thick or thin. This combined with my Bialetti Brikka 4-Cup Stovetop Espresso Maker makes an excellent cappuccino. Very pleased.
