4.0 out of 5 stars Work Series Travel Mug
Ordered this product for my keruig coffee pot but is a little tall for my coffee msker. I instead use the mug for my coffee on my way to work and back. I am amazed at how long this mug keeps my coffee hot - 4 or more hours.
Great value and quality for the price.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice, heavy mug
This is a good looking, heavyweight mug. It keeps coffee hot for about 2 hours. My only complaints are that it is too narrow to get my hand down inside to wash it really well and the plastic inside retains odors. I think it would be better if the inside was metal(stainless) like the outside. It does fit the cupholders in my car but is a bit top heavy.

4.0 out of 5 stars great while it lasted, April 6, 2011

I bought this mug for my husband, who needed a very large durable coffee mug. It was great for several months . . . and it broke the other day. It fell on the pavement from about 4 feet, and it did not survive the fall. So much for unbreakable! Also keep in mind that because the "extra large" section is at the top, it's top-heavy. It barely stands up when empty, and tips over easily when full.

2.0 out of 5 stars Just fair, February 14, 2011

I was looking for something that would keep coffee hot until lunch (3-4 hours). This mug only keeps coffee hot for about 1-1/2 to 2 hours. You have to (by hand) screw the top on tightly or else it dribbles. The lid and interior are plastic; maybe metal would work better? I expected more from a Thermos product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best mug I have ever owned!, January 11, 2012
This review is from: Thermos Work Series Travel Mug, 20 Oz
I have three of these mugs. They keep my coffee hot for four hours and my cold ice water cold for almost six hours. They wash great with a bottle washer for the narrow bottom. I think they can be a little tippy and I washed one in the dishwasher. The seal at the top stays tight and never drips. There is room for a tall, flexible straw if you are drinking ice tea. They fit in my car holder perfect. My only wish is that they came in black, red, royal or breast cancer pink. It would also be nice to have one a little larger mug for my ice water, but overall I am extremely satisfied. I would definitely recommend this product.

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent, but not great. this mug/cup doesn't live up to the "Thermos" brand reputation, December 29, 2011

To me, this mug/cup doesn't live up to the "Thermos" brand reputation.

The lid isn't leak proof. Leak resistant..sure. If the cup is tilted, liquid does leak out slowly.
Hot Coffee only stays HOT for only about 15 minutes. It stays warm about 15 more. I think the flaw in the design in the plastic liner. While it is easy to clean, it just doesn't hold the heat in. By contrast, I've got a THERMOS brand THERMOS(all metal, double wall), that keeps coffee HOT for 12-16 hours. That's the kind of quality I was expecting(heck, keeping it just WARM for a 1 hour would have made me happy). This mug/cup let me down. It's decent, but not great.

1.0 out of 5 stars Tippy-Tippy Syndrome!, December 10, 2011

I've had this mug for a couple of years, and I just hate it. I'm actually surfing Amazon this morning looking for a replacement. When full, it's top-heavy, and the design virtually guarantees that it will tip over.

Whoever designed this surely was never forced to use it. Any mug should be balanced, or at worst bottom-heavy to avoid tippy-tippy syndrome. Avoid this one!

4.0 out of 5 stars It's Heavy Duty Alright..., October 23, 2011

Love it! I've dropped it a ton of times and still not a scratch - gotta love that "for hard working men" quality! :) And it's a thermos so ofc it does it's job well! Burnt my mouth on my vanilla chai on MANY occasions! haha! It keeps my drinks cold AND hot for 5 hours AT LEAST. The only downside is the lid is a little leaky - so if it tips or jumbles around in your car fluid will start to appear around the inside rim of the lid (where you drink). But as far as sturdy material and functionality goes - it's wonderful! It just can't go in my backpack when I ride my motorcycle (fear of tipping over), but for everything else, it's a lifesaver and VERY DURABLE!
