Perfect for sewing projects requiring stabilization of a fabric, reinforcement of a fabric or extra body to a material. No pinning, basting or shifting. I have a black, very lightweight cotton shirt that developed a hole from snagging on a nail this summer and I wanted to prevent the hole from growing any larger. I mended it with this interfacing upon the recommendation of some sewing friends and it works great, washing well. I wish they made these little packages of interfacing in black but the white wasn't too visible when properly applied.
