Missionary Biography,
By Kat "kathyisasleep" (Tennessee) - See all my reviews
This review is from: These Are My People (Paperback)
Excellent missionary biography about Gladys Alward, missionary to China. Wonderful story. Inspiring. Well-written. I enjoyed reading it as an adult. My daughter read it when she was in 3rd grade and she loved it; she has since repeatedly talked about being a missionary to China if that be God's will for her. My son read it as a fifth grader and truly enjoyed it.

Read this one when I was a kid and wanted to read it to mine. It is an unbelievable adventure, but a true story!

Good book..,

I think this is a good, clean story of Gladys Aylward's life.
I could tell it was written for a younger audience because it seemed to "glorify" Gladys. It was an extremely Christian text which was nice and encouraging. It wasn't as much a page-turner as the Trailblazer book on her life, but nonetheless, it was good. I recommend this as a read-aloud to kids also. |
