This is an AMAZING book!! Elisabeth Elliott gives her side of "the story" before she married her husband. She tells how God worked in her life the year that she was on the mission field as a single missionary. I love the fact that she talks about her struggles, is honest and specific. God really used this in my life to reveal how discontent I am even though I have "it" so good. This is def. a must read!!! It coincides with Under the Shadow of the Almighty and is the prequel to Through Gates of Splendor.
