5.0 out of 5 stars I love it!
This IS NOT Joseph (as explained in the quotes). I am his oldest Daughter.

Natasha Bedingfield is very talented. She actually writes her own songs. This is a good sign because most of these artists act like they are too good to pick up a pencil. Also, she has a pretty good voice.

The Oringinal "These Words" is my favorite.

I advise...

Natasha Bedingfield is an amazing artist, amazing vocalist and drop dead gorgeous woman. She writes tremendous lyrics, and her vocals are some of the best that I have heard in quite some time. I remember hearing this song on MTV and I loved it right away. This is a great song to jive to, feel good about, have a drink and yes nice to play for a loved one.

I can't believe at one point I hated this song. The reason I like it is because it was getting so annoying, it was getting good.

5.0 out of 5 stars These Words Are Fine, August 5, 2005

Natasha's Bedingfield, who incidentally is Daniel Bedingfield's sister shares the same good genes for songwriting and performing. These Words, her US breakout hit, is deservingly so.

An R&B tune with extrememly clever lyrics andd a great funky hook is bound to make everyone swing and sing along. It even reminds one of Lauryn Hill on her 1998's Miseducation of album except with more spunk. And yes, this is better than any of the stuff coming from the black ladies of R&B in the market today.

The Bimbo Jones remix of These Words instantly converts the song into an edgy dancefloor filler, great for those late night moves but nothing takes the glory from the original.

The rest of the tracks iknclude a live recording of former UK hit Single, a previously unreleased song and the video to the song.

Nice work for the lady!

This girl will be HUGE over the year. just you wait and see, an agency in NY has already signed her. This song is pure genius, once again, Natasha's honest and straightforward words make this song catchy and unboring. I can listen to it thousands of times and not get sick of it. It keeps me happy during otherwise rather depressing ny subway rides. Here's hoping she won't sell out. i love you i love you i love you, Natasha!

1.0 out of 5 stars Was this girl drunk when she recorded this pile of crap???, September 4, 2005

While mildly melodic, this song is so bad it's laughable!!! The lyrics are so bad they're funny and singing are just terrible. Seriously, it sounds more like a drunken rant rather than a song.

Maybe in 10 years, people who are drunk will sing along to this at a karaoke bar for some kicks cause it is so awful, but as for musical credibility... Well, I'm not even sure if something this crappy can be considered music.

3.0 out of 5 stars Review: These Words, November 15, 2005

While the title single from her debut album "Unwritten"(also the name of the single) was a very successful song(apart from the charts), and earned her a grammy and AMA nomination for best video in 2004, her second single "These Words" went largely unnoticed. Did you know that this song has been shot(i.e. video) twice. The original video was not very successful in promoting the single so another video was shot and only then did the song come into notice and earned #17, #1 and #9 on the Billboard Hot 100, Dance Airplay and Pop 100 charts respectively.

Unlike "Unwritten", "These Words" is more upbeat and phunky although sometimes the music can be annoying. But mostly it is bareable and can be considered as an effort by Ms. Bedingfeild to please people.
