OK, there are misspellings and grammatical mistakes, big deal, the information is really neat. This book is packed with useful information. I read it 5 times through, getting useful stuff each time. I have been able to master her methods from the book, though I do also plan to take a seminar. I got more results faster with this book than any other. She doesn't just talk about feelings, she notes that you can download feelings you lack. This book, along with Richard Bartlett's Matrix Energetics: The Science and Art of Transformation, was highly recommended in a LOA course I took. I went back and forth between them, which helped me understand each of them better. No rehashes here, this lady got her stuff pure. I got a copy for my daughter, for someone at work, and for my wife. I sent copies of her previous books to other friends. I have one thing to say on this book: YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now Vianna may perhaps have gotten somewhat too full of herself, in the last few years. She has detractors on the web. The book itself is good. I would probably not take any courses with Vianna, based on what her students have told me, but then again I don't need to, I have this book. Now you do have to enter into the Theta state, the zero point state, the state of pure consciousness, for any of this to work. The Secret of Instant HealingHealing with Quantum Energy and DNA Demystified, Volume 1: A Practical Guide to Reprogramming the 13 Helixes at Zero Point approach this subject from similar places. I tried the techniques myself, and they worked for me. The detractors seem to want to force every theory into their own little boxes. This doesn't work. YOu have to enter into the world of the author of any book, to understand it. When I was studying calculus, which I found difficult, I had to enter it from the textbook author's viewpoint, to do anything. I couldn't force that text into my own restricted ideas. Same with this. The people giving it high marks do so from inside the book; the detractors clearly never entered into what the book is talking about. Oh well. One energy/feeling I downloaded was for my life to be better than the best I could imagine, a la Neville Goddard. At work, they did a workload equalization, which I hadn't seen or heard of in 20 years. Things aren't perfect, but they are- yes- better than the best I could have imagined, when I started. When my newborn daughter was in the hospital, she was getting vaccines, which would give her high fevers, really high, enough that the nurses got really nervous. I alternated between Matrix Energetics and this book, as this was all I had to read for 3 weeks in the hospital as I stayed with my daughter- my wife was sick- and each time, the fevers went down. Other problems just kind of melted away. This book, and the other books I've cited, are the first steps into the world of human scale Quantum Mechanics, out of the Cartesian/Newtonian paradigm that physics left over 100 years ago, but which society is only now starting to leave. Books on shamanic work make a lot more sense in the light of Theta Healing. Heck, there are scientists who think we are only a bunch of chemicals. That's fine- but that is only their viewpoint. I want as many viewpoints as I can get- as with Neils Bohr's multi-model concept- so I can get some idea of what is real. This book helped and helps me.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very Powerful Technique that anyone can do, July 28, 2007
By
This review is from: ThetaHealing (Paperback)
I own one of Vianna's previous books, Go up and Work with God, and I've got to say this one is more than "expanded" as the title suggests. This is a whole new book, organized with way more flow and chalked full of 'extra' information and detail.
I personally use the technique taught in this book and learned it directly from the book. I took no course, just read the book and followed the instructions, it's that easy! I can feel tremendous energy and am having fantastic results!
Out of all the energy medicine books I've read this is the best. It's a hands on technique, little theory with a whole lot of practical.
Highly recommended for the beginner, novice and expert practitioner.

5.0 out of 5 stars Advance Healing Work, July 3, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: ThetaHealing (Paperback)
Have you read Vianna Stibal's amazing books, Go Up and Seek God and Go Up and Work with God? Well, don't fret, this book is a compilation of those two plus a new healing modality on "feelings." That's right, this book contains guidelines on how you can download certain feelings you'd like to have.

This is advance healing work where you go to Theta (slow your brainwaves enough to completely connect with your subconscious) and change your mental programs. Why do I call this advance? The healing takes place in another plane, so you astral travel. You check the DNA codes (see it) and change it around to heal certain conditions like near sightedness, aging, etc.

With guidance from this book, anything is possible.

shanti,

Shalla

If you take her expensive seminar, you will be asked to sign a contract at the end of it to teach Theta Healing exactly has Viana prescibes or be threatened with legal action. There is funky energy attached to this this healing technique. For safer and more effective healing methods, I would look into Quantum Touch, Quantum Entrainment, and e-Healing.

4.0 out of 5 stars You can witness miracles, May 29, 2007
This review is from: ThetaHealing (Paperback)
Vianna Stibal has revised and expanded two previous books (Go Up and Seek God & Go Up and Work With God) into this publication. Belief Work, or ThetaHealing, is the modality Vianna used to cure her cancer. Vianna instructs that Theta is a God-inspired journey discovering layers within in ourselves that block our ability to self-heal. According to Vianna, ThetaHealing can be learned by all because it is a God-given right, an extension of the God within us.

Using examples and exercizes, ThetaHealing guides the reader through several scenerios. The marvelous aspect of the healing process is witnessing God's miracles, first hand!

The conversant style used in the book makes it diffucult to read at times. It could have used more proof reading prior to publication.

5.0 out of 5 stars Theta Healing/Belief reprogramming!, January 17, 2008
This review is from: ThetaHealing (Paperback)
I have recently taken the course in Theta Healing and find this book very good to help with information regarding belief work. This is easy to do on yourself and is very enlightening to see via muscle testing a form of kinesiology. I found that even though mentally i believed i was good enough my body told me i held beliefs opposite to this which was why I was not moving forward. Also i carried beliefs from past lives which were affecting me in this life. I would recommend this to anyone seriously willing to look at and change their belief patterns. Excellant book and guide, worth a read for healers and people already working on their beliefs. People with no realisation in their beliefs will also find it interesting information.

I had previously purchased Vianna's book "Go Up & Seek God". I had difficulty with the technique because visualization doesn't come easy for me - I am more of a "feeler". Plus, the word "God" was a barrier for me. However, I loved the possibilities of the technique enough to purchase this book. In this book, she seems to have expanded her concept of the source of creation and healing which is very appealing to me. I also appreciated her emphasis on self-help. She doesn't seem to have any of that 'guru' mentality. To me, the most important feature of her growth and expanded vision is her use of muscle testing to discover weird beliefs that are stuck in your energy field! That alone was worth the price of the book. I even bought a copy for a friend. There are many other ideas she explores in a very 'non-creepy' way such as mysterious implants, spirits, indigo children, etc. This book and the book "The Parallel Universe of Self" will change how you view life and its possibilities.

I am a healing practitioner and Theta Healing is a very powerful technique. I think anyone with some previous healing, and meditation training can learn the technique from the book. The beauty of Theta Healing is that it is not running energy, as Reiki is, but having Creator heal. I found it a very interesting book and method of healing which I am going to incorporate in my practice.

For anyone looking for something beyond Reiki or even Quantum Touch, this is definitely it. As a reiki practitioner, I have now switched over to this method as it is so much deeper.

5.0 out of 5 stars Useful., July 9, 2010
This review is from: ThetaHealing (Paperback)
Theta Healing combines two of her previous books Go up and work with God,and Go up and seek God with additional material.

Her personal story is compelling. She discovered a healing technique when working on other people. She had cancer in the leg, and was going to lose the leg, so she applied the technique, and was able to save her leg and her life.

It's certainly interesting to see this theta healing technique described. You are using a deeper state of mind, to connect with the source, to rearrange your DNA, and effect permanent positive changes and healing. Theta is a state of mind associated with deep meditation, light sleep, insight, and creativity.

I cannot say for certain whether it works yet because I may not be doing it properly, and I may have beliefs that are blocking me. I do believe the technique has merit. What I have noticed is additional warmth and energy in my body when I am doing this.

I do believe you can clear many emotional issues when you are in a theta state, and there is an emotional aspect to many illnesses. Also, Theta visualization is fun.

If you have difficulty accessing the Theta state, which I believe most people will, I recommend you get the Dr Jeffrey Thompson cd's, Theta Meditation System, and Awakened Mind System 2.0. These will help lead your mind to the desired state. Learning hypnosis and being able to visualise easily is also a help.

In this book are many repatterning techniques, as the author has studied NLP. So, you can overcome emotional issues, and replace limiting beliefs using the techniques in this book. These are very useful, and it is difficult to find many books that cover this issue properly. I would recommend this book for this reason alone.

There are techniques for creating for your own reality, which I feel would work, including attracting a soul mate. One of these is a Huna technique similar to what I am already using, and I believe this would work for you too. I have used something which is a hybrid of this and the Huna ha rite to great effect.

The method from the book I most use is the prayer/intention method.

The world is constantly evolving, and if you use books such as this and anything by Sanaya Roman, you will be on the cutting edge of our spiritual evolution, and understand better than most how the world works, and work with it, and make it work for you.

If you were to use this book, you will benefit from it. It also has many profound insights. I hope this review was helpful to you.
