1.0 out of 5 stars Sham baby-killer trying to save face
Total JOKE- everyone is to blame but Bob. This account is poorly written and persists throughout in ignoring the fact that there are victims including the 12 year old baby who in infrequent mention is a "woman" in the book.... and of course Bob takes pains to mention how gross she and her mom are- not to justify his shooting them in the head multiple times....nooo...

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Testimony- Everyone Should Own a Copy of This Book, April 8, 2002

I loved this book! It is an excellent portrayal of God's love. We are all sinners- from liars to thieves to adulterers to, yes, even murderers- and Jesus died on the cross for everyone of us. This book is Bob Erler's testimony to that. It describes- in detail- the transformation Erler went through in his life after accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. The details are wonderful! Erler knows how to keep his audience entertained, but more importantly, he is telling the truth about what Jesus has done for him. Since he turned his life over to Jesus Christ, that has been his main goal- to let others know what Jesus did for each and every person. God only asks that you believe in Him and that His Son Jesus Christ died for your sins and rose again to live forever in paradise. I highly recommend this book to Christians and nonbelievers alike!

First wife? She's greedy and selfish according to Bob. Marital problems werent Bob's fault. He hit her but that wasn't his fault either.

Very brief police career? He was a star and all the other cops were on the take. Bad cops, killers and theives. Bob was a good guy though, just ask him.

Prison? He's the ultimate tough guy but of course he HAS to be... no other choice, and of course segregation isn't a choice even though that's what most people in his position choose. Bob fights instead but that's not really a choice....

Bob breaks out of prison but there's a good reason. Goes on the lam with the mob .... has some fun with a bad girl, marries her(she's really a pain, problems with this marriage are her fault too, not Bob's- Bob is NEVER at fault for anything)

So now Bob is a Christan and Jesus forgives him. Even though nothing is REALLY his fault....... "I did it but I had reasons..... I don't have to take blame but I'll take forgiveness"

Who will Witness for the Baby who was gunned down in cold blood? What about her life? Her mothers life?
