Okay, to put it in perspective, yes Chingo Bling is a novelty act. The Sisters Garcia (well, Ana & Amina) have met him in person and he is actually a very intelligent and articulate college graduate who has a love for music and having a good time. We believe that he chooses to portray himself as a stereotype not only for fun but also because every one of us has that stereotypical "paisa" deep down inside, and we all have to bring it out every once in a while!
Chingo Bling may not be Tupac but he is a fun, creative artist who can make catchy songs that entertain. His lyrics usually aren't serious but they are innovative and amusing! He has a lot more talent than most of the "Chicano rappers" who simply focus on gang life on every single album(seen it, lived it, heard it, OVER IT) The production is good and the skits are hilarious. On top of all that, he is an extremely savvy businessman who gives back to his community. Chingo's message is basically this- You can be successful without losing touch of your roots and who you really are! How can you go wrong with that? By the way, in case you didn't hear, the hood has his back... so you don't want none ;) CHINGO 4 PRESIDENT!! -The Sisters Garcia

Man this album has like at least three to four hit songs and it has bass that rocks the hell out of my 12's in my truck. Buy this album you wont regret it

Chingo Represented the real street H-town music that i love. Also represented for all the latin rappers down south. Proved that they can do it as well...and very well. Great beats and funny lyrics. Great quality CD.
