5.0 out of 5 stars Calmense o les ch*ngo! Don't take it so seriously
Okay, to put it in perspective, yes Chingo Bling is a novelty act. The Sisters Garcia (well, Ana & Amina) have met him in person and he is actually a very intelligent and articulate college graduate who has a love for music and having a good time. We believe that he chooses to portray himself as a stereotype not only for fun but also because every one of us has that...

I heard Chingo Bling's name mentioned here and there on various mixtapes as well as on HipHopSite. I came across his album They Can't Deport Us All one day, and I decided to listen to it. But I'm starting to regret doing so.

Okay, to put it in perspective, yes Chingo Bling is a novelty act. The Sisters Garcia (well, Ana & Amina) have met him in person and he is actually a very intelligent and articulate college graduate who has a love for music and having a good time. We believe that he chooses to portray himself as a stereotype not only for fun but also because every one of us has that stereotypical "paisa" deep down inside, and we all have to bring it out every once in a while!

Chingo Bling may not be Tupac but he is a fun, creative artist who can make catchy songs that entertain. His lyrics usually aren't serious but they are innovative and amusing! He has a lot more talent than most of the "Chicano rappers" who simply focus on gang life on every single album(seen it, lived it, heard it, OVER IT) The production is good and the skits are hilarious.

On top of all that, he is an extremely savvy businessman who gives back to his community. Chingo's message is basically this- You can be successful without losing touch of your roots and who you really are! How can you go wrong with that? By the way, in case you didn't hear, the hood has his back... so you don't want none ;)

CHINGO 4 PRESIDENT!!

Chingo Represented the real street H-town music that i love. Also represented for all the latin rappers down south. Proved that they can do it as well...and very well. Great beats and funny lyrics. Great quality CD.

I bought the album without having listened to any of the previous albums. I love Texas music and Chingo doesn't disappoint. The beats are good and his flow is on point and hilarious.

I heard Chingo Bling's name mentioned here and there on various mixtapes as well as on HipHopSite. I came across his album They Can't Deport Us All one day, and I decided to listen to it. But I'm starting to regret doing so.

Things do start out interesting at the beginning, though. The title track is pretty decent, as is "Southside Thang" (with Paul Wall) and "Still Goin' Down!" But immediately following those three tracks is the ridiculous commercial-like skit "Chinglish 4 Dummies". Now, I know that on most rap albums the skits are usually pointless, but the skits HERE are just plain stupid: check "Jimmy Dean Bobbery" (about going to a drive-thru run by employees that don't speak English well) and the obligatory skit featuring your alter-ego, "Ese Lil Cholo Strikes Again".

But the full-length songs aren't that great either, and it's easy to tell considering the album is 78 minutes long. Skippable tracks include "In Case They Forgot", "Like This N Like That" (the necessary song with a screwed chorus) and "Who Dat". Also fast-forwardable are the obligatory shake-that-ass songs "Werk That" and "Show That Chit", as well as the I-got-a-brand-new-dance-for-ya track, "Do the Lasso". And "Tira Te Patrazz" is confusing; I mean, "patrazz" isn't even a word in Spanish (unless it's supposed to be someone's name, but from listening to the song, it doesn't appear that way).

Another thing is that although Chingo is obviously not the best rapper in the world, even Baby Bash outshines him on "Head Honcho". And speaking of that, there are way too many guest stars on here, and as often is the case, they're mostly unknowns that really aren't WORTH knowing. Chingo Bling doesn't need to be deported, but maybe his album needs to be IMported because it's really not that impressive.

It sounds like the music is based on the artwork. This is the "Captain Planet" of music CDs. Of course, if you make a music CD that says "Yes, we can deport you all", it would be protested by these illegals whom can't vote anyways (well, legally, but they still do in Wisconsin and California)
