Rare Centennial LP , 1986 - Marie Osmond & More,

This 1986 LP contains exclusive songs recorded just to mark the occasion of the American centennial. Most songs are all new, & available just here. MARIE OSMOND recorded AMERICA IS - [ The Official Liberty Centennial Song ] and it's one of her true rarities. This song was written for her by the legendary songwriter Hal David and Joe Raposo, who wrote songs for Sesame Street, notably SING by The Carpenters. Also on here are songs by BETTY BUCKLEY, GLEN CAMPBELL, BILL CHAMPLIN [ Lead singer of CHICAGO ] and a rarity by JOHNNY CASH, WILLIE NELSON, JESSI COLTER & WAYLON JENNINGS with a narration by WILL D. CAMPBELL entitled LET AMERICA BE AMERICA AGAIN. This LP contains some beaitiful, patriotic songs that are tradtional, as well s new and fresh. Never released on CD. WORD RECORDS WR 98334.
