This is the funniest CD I have ever heard. I bought "What the Hell Happened To Me" and "What's Your Name" first, and thought nothing could be funnier. I was wrong! I bought this CD while I was in Boston on a field trip, and my friends and I listened to it on the entire ride home. We cracked up on every track. The buffoon is even funnier than the excited southerner. His phrase: F***in s**t still makes me laugh, even though I've heard it a million times. As you first listen to the CD he pops up at the most surprising places (He has a part in "I'm So Wasted" and "Teenage Love on the Phone in addition to his 2 starring roles). Of course, there is no doubt that Toll Booth Willie is the best overall Adam Sandler skit from any album. So, now that I own all three of his albums, I will give a brief synopsis of all of them: (I already talked about They're All Gonna Laugh at You) What the Hell Happened to Me was great, but I felt that The Excited Southerner joke went on a bit to long. Giving him the starring role in 5 tracks? Rediculous. 3 would have been better. The Excited Southerner in my oppinion was just to take up space. Don't get me wrong! It was all very funny. But went on a little to long. The Goat and Respect more than made up for that, though. I rate it 4/5. What's Your Name was good, but not great. I thought that having more songs was a good idea, but not all songs. 10 songs and 10 skits would have been better. Having all songs made it impossible to have a character such as the buffoon or the excited southerner. But, let's face it, the songs were funny as hell. 4/5

When I bought this CD back in 1994 I only knew of Adam Sandler from his stint on Saturday Night Live and the songs he would do on the show like "The Thanksgiving Song" and "Lunchlady Land". Both of which are included on this CD. I liked him on SNL so I thought I would give this album a shot. I was glad I bought this album. I was laughing so hard my sides hurt. Not only could Sandler come up with some very funny songs, but the skits are great too. My favorites are "Toll Booth Willie" (very funny) and "Oh mom...". And besides Sandler there are a lot of SNL alumni that join him on this album including the late and great Chris Farley and David Spade to name a few. This is a hilarious album that will keep you laughing for days. Also be sure to check out his other albums as well which are equally funny.

We sure will after hearing this one. Sandler's CDs always have that one common element that is repeated throughout (such as the excited Southerner, the Cool Guy), and here, it is the Buffoon. The Buffoon is a totally obliterated, obscene moron who blurts out really strange observations and anecdotes. (but, man, is it ever hilarious!) A nice treat is that you'll get surprised by the Buffoon more than you think on this CD.As always, Sandler's songs are inspired (by a demented mind, no doubt). The best skits are the Buffoon, 'Toll Booth Willie', 'I'm So Wasted', 'Buddy', and 'The Longest Pee'.Of course, the standard disclaimer applies here: if you're easily offended...you don't like swearing...if you don't like innuendoes concerning food objects...don't listen to this, for heaven's sake. On the other hand, if you want to spend some quality time hearing some of Adam Sandler's great material, this one is a keeper.

This is a great comedy album. Almost all the tracks are winners. The songs are also very good. I prefer this first recording over Adam's second album, "What the Hell Happened to Me?", although that is a good laugh-fest as well. All in all, a VERY enjoyable listen!.

It's been a while since I first got this, but I still find it just as funny as the first day I bought it. Sandler's humor is deliberately sophomoric, which is what really makes it fun and enjoyable for those of us who are fans. The first time I listened to it, I happened to be drinking a glass of milk. When "Toll Booth Willie" came on, it caught me off-guard and yes, you guessed it, made me laugh uncontrollably while also making the milk come out of my nose.

Due to the language, it's not for young kids; but it's still a very funny CD regardless. Of course, you do have to have a sense of humor that appreciates Sandler's style. If you do, then you will certainly not be dissapointed. I'm glad I have it in my CD collection, and I recommend it highly for a quick laugh.

Overall, this is a pretty good comedy album sure to entertain Adam Sandler fans; however, some of the bits will very likely frustrate or turn off listeners who have yet to join the ranks of the Sandler faithful. The language earns the album a Mature rating, but there is nothing shockingly graphic to be found here. One of the great things about Sandler is the variety of comic media he brings to the microphone. For instance, you get four songs here, including the well-known and quite popular Thanksgiving Song and Lunchlady Land of Saturday Night Live fame. I can't say I particularly care for the other two songs, Innuendo Guy and At a Medium Pace, but this is largely due to the fact that they go a little too far for my tastes and seem to rely solely on the "dirty" nature of the lyrics to generate laughs. The "Beating of" tracks also got old in a hurry to my ears-one or two beatings would have been sufficient and more enjoyable than having four of them scattered throughout the album.

Right Field is a funny track that almost anyone who has played or watched sports can easily identify with; it is also one of the few tracks clean enough to have been played on the radio. Buddy and Fatty McGee are also quite funny. If you think hurling profanity-laced insults at smart-alecks is funny (and apparently I do), you will love Toll Booth Willie. My favorite track would have to be I'm So Wasted (apparently, I also think that someone pretending to be stoned is funny).

Some would call this album crude and immature, and they would be correct in saying this. However, the album also happens to be quite funny most of the time. Some of the bits are a little overdone and become somewhat annoying after you've heard them a few times, but the truly funny tracks more than offset the problematic ones, making this a comedy album worth having.

mygod was this funny! This was the first Adam Sandler cd I had heard and i got into trouble many times (because i was listening to it during class & could not help laughing hysterically while rolling on the floor!) Anyway, some may not appreciate all the beating tracks on this cd but i found them absolutely hilarious. The buffoon is awesome & I'm so high is too. I love the funny songs on this. I highly recommend it!

Out of all the Adam Sandler CD, this one made me laugh the hardest. And get this: I only listened to 4 tracks! My friend has the audio tape cassette and let me listen to part of it, then,his little brother who was 6 or 7 at the time begged for it. This CD is not recommended for little kids because of its sexual content, but his little brother had an explicent content mind anyway so his life is over. I saw a trend or a pattern in this album. This album is about school and the OLDER KIDS in school, so I could relate with that. "Buddy" is a great song, but I liked the skits more. "Assistant Principal's Day off" is a hillarious skit with a pervert principal announcing the rules for the school. "The Longest Pee" is just one track off some dude takin a wizz and when he thinks he's done, he has to go again, and it won't stop! But its still pretty funny. My personal favorite is "The Bafoon and the dean of students." The bafoon who is a wierd talking nieve human being is havin an interview with the dean of students. The dean keeps on making up these excuses for what he says. Like when the bafoon says, "I Got a big old bona right now!", the dean relys with "Yeah, well, sensations of sexual behavior do come up whenever a person tends to get nervous or under stress." So over all, this is not the only the best Adam Sandler CD, its also the best comedy CD ever.

Adam Sandler puts wacky sounds with extremely orginal humor to create gut wrenching laughs. Most albums like this people listen to once, but this one can be listened to over and over and over again.

Sandler's first and best album is a must have. A collection of hilarious skits and songs with the help of fellow SNL talents, Rob Schneider, David Spade, Tim Meadows, and Conan O'Brien.
