No, this is not some kind of operatic send up of the 1980s punk rock band "The Meat Men". This is a choral arrangement of the popular 1991 short story by Hugo and Nebula winner Terry Bisson entitled "They're Made Out of Meat". Fred Himebaugh sensitively handles the material, which in the wrong hands could be completely spoof/"filk music" and the tension builds throughout the storyline. I would highly recommend it to any connoisseur of both SciFi AND operatic styles.

It's space opera! This is a really fun take on Terry Bisson's classic short-short "They're Made Out Of Meat". Played absolutely straight by The Fredosphere, which is what makes it so great. The best $0.89 I spent all day.
