Muetzel's management track record includes success stories in companies ranging from internationally recognized market leaders, (Executive Committee, Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corporation), to small and medium-sized, privately held corporations. This variety of successful management experience has been an inherent advantage to his growing list of consulting clients.
Muetzel received his undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University in 1979, and his MBA from Kent State University in 1988. Mike's community service includes teaching and facilitating classes at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, and working with the youth and high school lacrosse programs in Peachtree City, Georgia, as a popular coach, and sometimes not-so-popular referee.

A wonderful insight into Gen-X and what drives them!,
By A Customer
This review is from: They're Not Aloof... Just Generation X (Paperback)
One of the most interesting books I've read on management and human relations. This book is useful as a management primer and well beyond, including parenting. The author illustrates with demographic data the future and clear importance of understanding Gen-X. This generation will be the dominant workforce and running the corporations and institutions of this country. If you're in management you need to be aware of and plan for this. Gen-x is talented, independent and demands a fresh approach which the author provides a blueprint for. This book proposes that as managers first we understand ourselves, what drives us and our management styles. This chapter alone is worth the price of the book. The book is full of interesting and introspective personal experiences from the author and well worth reading.
