We use these mats in our garage gym to ground fight on. They work great and protect well.

These are not really a toy they are very good for bjj and mma. the only downside is they are kinda firm compared to regular tatami mats. The deal is very good for the price i would recommend this to anyone looking for good mats cheap.
Also they are very easy to piece together.

I purchased this flooring to create a 12'X12' exercise space on my concrete floor basement. The tiles (all 36 of them!) arrived within 2-3 days of placing the order. Assembly was easy and I have a lot of the borders left over to make kneeling pads for gardening and one for my husband's work space in the other side of the basement. I haven't done aerobics yet since I haven't purchased carpeting, but have tested the flooring. It is firm, but provides more than adequate shock absorption when jumping. My husband tested it a bit rougher than I did and he believed I chose the right flooring.
This product was tagged as a toy, therefore my rating probably seems skewed as I rated mostly 3s because I wasn't sure how to rate it. As far as using it as flooring for children's play I believe it would work very well, although the company sells comparable tiles that are more colorful and inviting to children. I recommend it for play or exercise.

These mats are fabulous! We use them in a sectioned-off area for a playroom for our daughter (now 2 years old). The only issue I have (which I haven't spent a ton of time trying to figure out how to resolve because I don't need to yet) is that on the occassion when we are entertaining and need to take up her playroom for extra space, the hardwood floor underneath becomes VERY SLIPPERY (despite having mopped afterwards). We usually just put down a large area rug to deal with the issue, but WILL need to figure out a solution once we take up the mat permanently (which probably won't be for quite a few more years). I'd still recommend these mats - they're really thick & I never worry about my daughter getting hurt if she falls on them.

I purchased these mats for our Church. These are thicker than the standard mats, but this retailer made it possible to purchase these better quality mats comparable to the standard ones. The interlocking channel is wonderful and these do come with the edging included in the price. Great value for the price and the delivery took no time at all - 2 days even with the value shipping option.
