I fresh new look into the life of a Vampire,

Keep in mind that this is the second book in the series. You simply must read Mina's Journal first.
Kim Zagoren takes a totally fresh and intriguing look into the vampire Mina's life or unlife, depending on how you look at it. This is not a predicable or rote vampire story. Though the vampires are portrayed as people in their own right, similar to Rice's Interview....this is not a duplicate story of Rice's in any sense. Thicker is full of plot twists, one of which I absolutely loved, but won't spoil your read by explaining. This coupled with the well written, candid, and human look into Mina's (and the rest of the charactes) life makes it a must read. Kim is a fresh, talented and very welcome addition to this genre. Pick up Mina's Journal first, and you may as well just pick up Thicker at the same time. I'm sure you'll be dieing (no pun intended) to see what happens in her dark life next! Tiffany Sinclair
