Low-key, inventive and wonderful,
By Dan L. Manes "Happy, clappy music person" (United States; Cleveland , Ohio) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME)

This is the kind of under the radar talented band you would love to brag to your friends about. Very skilled musicians, making very interesting music with depth and catchiness. The style of music by the Mumlers is a lite psychedelic folk, in the realm of say a Devendra Banhart. (less over the top) The singer, Will Sprott, while not the strongest vocalist out there, adds the right kind of flavor to the bands music.
Nothing groundbreaking persay but just really a solid album by a talented unknown act. Give it a try!

Since I've gotten this album, I just can't stop listening to it. Each song is truly unique, but the album itself flows together so well. I especially love "Shake Your Medication," which is downright funky and "Hinges Lament," which is eerily folksy. From the lyrics to the melodic harmonies, I'm hooked!
