When a quilter is introduced to Thimbleberries designs and fabrics for the first time, it becomes an awaking. Lynette Jensen clearly and concisely gives the quilter tools to create new traditional quilts - easily! Lynette's 25 quilts are a delight to the eyes. Her graphic patterns allow the quilter to enjoy the fun of quilting for themselves or for someone else. Now I look at quilts with a different sense of color, textural delights and simplicity. This is one book that I own but it's not collecting dust. I just keep using it all year long. nChristmas season has a new look, one that lasts all year. Keep in mind that this is a quilting book for many levels of skilled and beginner quilters. Lynette, when is the next book coming out? I can't wait to order it, too.

Well, written. Directions are simple. Beautiful quilts. Pictures are great. Gives you great decorating ideas too.

This is one of the best quilt books I own. It is jam-packed with tips and suggestions and the pattern directions are clear and VERY easy to follow. The quilts are simple, yet elegant. This is a great book to leave on the coffee table for anyone to look at. Lynette Jensen's quilts are beautiful. I can't wait to purchase her latest book.

I'm an intermediate quilter, and don't have a lot of time. I was able to do the Pine Grove quilt as a king-size in a couple months, and can't wait to start the Baby Rosebud! Her colors are great; I also love the quilting suggestions.

This is one of my most used quilt books. The quilts are beautiful, and Lynette Jensen not only gives suggestions for color choices, but I like that she also gives suggestions on how to quilt your finished project so that it looks beautiful. She also includes exceptional decorating tips with the quilts, particularly if you are a prolific quilter and choose to display quilts more than just by using them to make the bed. The patterns are easy to follow, and there are projects ranging from large bedspreads to small doll-size quilts. A few are particularly beautiful for Christmas, but most of the patterns are for year-round use. Lynette also suggests types of fabric for each quilt ranging from calicos to flannels to corduroy. This quilt book will certainly give you a long wish list of projects to complete!

There's a beautiful selection of quilts, with a 'down-to-earth' appeal. Over the past couple years, I've become a big fan of Lynette Jensen's work, and she did a great job on this book! (I've had this book for quite awhile but never got the chance to comment until now, as I spent alot of my spare time quilting.)

The best way I can describe these quilts are that they give you this 'cozy country' feeling. From wallhangings, to pillows, to placemats and tablerunners to fullsize quilts, its one of those books which will remain in my quilting library for years. I really like practically all of the quilts inside this book, which is quite a rare thing to say about a book. I'd highly recommend it!

There is nothing better than the "down home" feeling of a warm and cozy quilt. Lynette Jensen's book gives you that wonderful feeling. Her book is jammed packed full of original earthy quilts and home decorating accessories. There are easy to follow instructions from quilts of all sizes to throw pillows and Christmas stockings. All are creatively done using the warm, natural colors Lynette is famous for. I am newly inspired to get back to my sewing machine and getting busy. After sinking into this book of warm, cuddly quilts I can't wait for winter

I was unsure of purchasing a quilting book online since you cannot see what all the book includes as far as patterns. When I received this in the mail I was plesantly pleased. There are many beautiful patterns to choose from. Along with easy to understand instructions.

The Thimbleberries line of fabrics are so warm and yummy they are like snuggling in your mothers lap. The patterns in this book are simple, uncongested and just plain calming. They almost force you to slow down and soak up the warmth of a fireplace and the security of your home. If your not on the war path to really impress your friends or to out-do the Jones's than get this for some good ole fashioned patterns that you can imagine your great grandmother stitching. Maybe one day your great grand-daughter will still be snuggling in it.

This book is wonderful!! Lynette Jensen does it again with her easy writing style and directions. I would definitely recommend this book from beginner quilter to and experienced quilter!!
The projects are bite size to complete in a resonable amount of time. And Amazon offers GREAT prices and fast shipping.
