This is a no-nonsense book that jumps right into the quilting projects. There is no forward by the author; only a table of contest and then lots of patterns to make. A dozen patterns will keep you busy.

As always, there are quilts and table runners but this book includes a few difference ideas that would make great gifts. Cute May Basket Place Mats where the napkin tucks into the basket or a photo or recipe note card are two of these items. There is even a tip or two on making/decorating seasonal items.

Each pattern has a color photo of the finish item so you can see what it will look like before you begin. A list of fabrics and supplies is next. Cutting and piecing directions are clear and contain graphics to show you exactly how the block should go together. Assembly and finishing instructions complete the project with yet another graphic of the completed item.

A four-page general direction section can be found at the end of the book. It describes, among other things, how to do fusible web appliqués. The 80 pages of THIMBLEBERRIES, Four Seasons of Calendar TABLE TOPPERS provides lots of wonderful patterns and will keep you busy making beautiful items for family and friends.

I just received my book and cannot wait to try the projects in it. This book is full of patterns that look both easy and beautiful to make. A lot of times I'll purchase a quilt book and find that I like about 50% of what's in there. Four Seasons of Calendar Table Toppers is one that I like 100% of what I see! I highly recommend this book.

Excellent book including several sizes of projects. Beautifully photographed with Lynette Jensen's detailed and illustrated instructions for the construction of each project. Good choice for the quilter who is interested in making smaller projects with the Thimbleberries quality.

this book allows me to try a pattern without investing alot of time or money by making a Table Topper. Then if I love the pattern I can use it in a quilt. Given several as gifts this past year which friends appreciate as you can't buy them.

Easy patterns, some simple, some a little more involved. Good instructions. Good for beginners.
