5.0 out of 5 stars Engaging and full of hope
Sheryle writes a creative, heart-rending story of her battle with anorexia and bulimia and the spiritual revelation that saved her life. She transparently shares her jagged journey from bondage to freedom in a way that those who struggle with this frightening disorder will identify with. Her questions for journaling are as good as hours of therapy. Once I started...

2.0 out of 5 stars Christian workbook for Anorexia
This is not a novel to read. It is a Christian-based workbook for those suffering from Anorexia. That said, I think it would be a good workbook for those who are very Christian and trying to figure out if they are, indeed, suffering from Anorexia.

5.0 out of 5 stars Inspiring., November 21, 2009

For anyone struggling with an eating disorder, or struggling to recover, I highly recommend this book. The author clearly illistrates her shared struggle, but in no way glorifies her struggle. There is a journaling component to the book, which is very useful for recovery and understanding one's eating disorder. This book is extremely encouraging.

This is a very good book on ana...easy to read and understand..the problem is discussed thoroughly and the character was interesting. She used her roots in Christianity to help with her problem..although she did not rely solely on it.

I was extremely pleased with the processing of my order. Everything was done very professionally. Easy ordering and quick shipping!

I say screw purchasing books unless you have read them and love them. This book wasn't bad, in fact it was entertaining throughout however it was a waste of money when I could have just gone to the library instead. So save your money and get a free library card instead.

Although my heart goes out to the author, this book was of no help to me. It is completely prayer based. Why buy a book if you can go to church or read the bible for free?
