3.0 out of 5 stars Freshman Release Doesn't Hold Candle to Follow-up
Unjust's Freshman release is good--but after hearing Come Feel Me and Nylon from the second album you realize how much better their sophmore album is. Their third "release" titled Demo2K2 is even more polished--a bit softer though--but excellent. Get this album if you want a good explosive album, but the songs sound just a little too much alike for me to give...

4.0 out of 5 stars bay area metal at its best, June 24, 2002

imagine chino moreno's (deftones) lyrics sung by mike patton (faith no more, mr. Bungle, fantomas, tomahawk, etc.)with machine head riffs and double bass drumming. That's exactly what you can expect from unjusts first effort. An album filled with typical bay area metal with an emotional touch by the singer/guitarist. Also includes guest appearances by the leaders in the bay area metalscene: Adam Duce (machine head) and Steev Equival (skinlab).

5.0 out of 5 stars How come this band is not more well-known??, February 16, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Thin Line Emotions (Audio CD)
While their albums "Makeshift Grey" and "Glow" have clearly outdone this album in every shape and form..."Thin Line Emotions" is still a solid debut from this highly talented nu-metal band. I realize a lot of people out there despise nu-metal...because of a few bands who have given it a bad name. It's the same thing with emo...a couple bands out there give that genre a bad name as well...but I digress. This band is in the upper echelon of the more intelligent sounding nu-metal bands. If you are a fan of The Deftones, Machinehead, and Faith No More...this band will clearly impress you. Not to say that they completely rip off those bands...they are inspired by them, there is a difference. So...how come this band is not more well-known? Simple...because they don't appeal to the frat-boy "intellect" that Limp Bizkit does...if the masses were more concerned about artistic appeal as opposed to what sounds good while drinking a few Jagermeister shots (not like there is anything wrong with Jagermeister mind you) this band would be way more popular.

Still, if you are interested in Unjust...I recommend picking up "Makeshift Grey" first instead of this one. Peace!

Note: Nevermind the "unhelpful" vote, it's just by someone who has yet to get laid so they are mad at the world.
