Tracks range from raspy story telling tales speckled with finger picking to intense percussion driven rocking jams. Never pausing to give a hint of insincerity, Todd Sampson, aka The Mountain Apple Epidemic will inevitably draw comparisons to Woven Hand. Like David Eugene Edwards, Sampson manages to capture a feeling of unrest that can be interpreted as dread or conviction. Thin & Pale's verossity is led by Sampson's incorrigible fervor; you believe what he is saying.
