This album is very nice. I agree with the previous reviewer - their version of "Spirit of the West" is a well-arranged and beautiful tribute to the original. My only critique is that some of Don Ross' songs (which I've heard on his earlier albums) seem a bit too "polished" or "cleaned-up" when compared to their earlier, original recorded versions. There's something more raw and emotive about the original versions, in my humble opinion. But I still do enjoy the richness of texture that Andy McKee brings to the new arrangements of these songs. This album was a good purchase, and I urge others to buy and listen.

This is a fantastic album. I am a fan of both of these guys, and they play together as good as cookies and milk. If you like fingerstyle guitar, this is a great album. Spirit of the West (1st track) kicks off the album in style.

The more you know about guitar and the better you play, the more you will appreciate this recording.
