5.0 out of 5 stars Addicted to Caffeine
Excellent from the first to last track, you can't possibly regret the purchase of Things in the Game Done Changed. I bought this CD 4 years ago, and it still is one of the best I ever heard. Each song deserves at least 4 stars. Caffeine is not too agressive and far from being one of those pop rap stars. If I would have to compare him to any other artists, Tupac would be...

This was o.k. Nothing more nothing less. This album was hard to review, beacuse no songs really stick out. I mean the guy is a mediocre artist with mediocre rhymes, laced over just above mediocre beats. I have heard better Sesame Street singalongs for yappy kids in the back seat of a mini van.

I mean what does the album have that sticks out? "Saturday To...

If I would have to compare him to any other artists, Tupac would be the one I choose because they both share the same ability to rhyme without having to try too hard...smooth, balanced and unique.

NORE is on it, Ride With Me is amazing, the beats are great, the verses even better, and the artist rocks the rap game! I need more Caffeine!

I mean what does the album have that sticks out? "Saturday To Saturday"? "Bloody Horseshoe"? Or the multi- faceted "Boo, We Ain't Forgot About You" None of the above, or none on the album.

Sorry. And please, all angry people who think that this is a bad review, remember, it's a REVIEW. I can say what I want.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
this CD has hott beats, this guy is hardcore and hes much better than much of the rap today and i think that if he had an album deal he would ace this business. This guy has some tight songs and his music is off da hook

If you dont recognize this guy, he was the same person who got beat down by Caine in Menace II Society. Somehow he convinced Andre Harrell(yeah, THAT Andre Harrell) that he was talented and now we have this album, Things In The Game Done Changed. The main problem is that Caffeine has no personality and tends to rap offbeat sometimes. For All Ya'll feat Too Short and Kimico are prime examples of this. There are about three songs that are not bad. Rob To Eat feat Noreaga is cool. His first single Ride With Me feat Jazze Pha was a good single. Holla At Your Partner feat Kurupt is tight too. The album falters because of Caffeine's bad rhymes. Songs like Good Deal Gone Bad, Thing In The Game Done Changed(feat Liberty City--what ever happened to them), Bloody Horseshoe(which doesnt make sense at all) and Stressed Out have dope beats by Caffeine's unstable raps ruin those tracks easily. Saturday To Saturday, Kimico, Nasty Girl, Hollywood Swingin, Boo, We Aint Forgot About You are all garbage. Bottom Line: Things In The Game Done Changed should have never been attempted. Caffeine cant rhyme and even though most of the beats werent bad, that is still not a good reason to purchase this album. After hearing this one you'd want to beat him down like Caine did in Menace II Society. Standout Tracks: ROB TO EAT, RIDE WITH ME and HOLLA AT YOUR PARTNER.
