For those that are unfamiliar with the music of Michael Knott, this album is for you. This album gives you a taste of everything from his solo efforts to his works as front man for the following: LSU, Cush, Strung Gurus, Aunt Bettys, and Bomb Bay Babies. "Things I've Done, Things to Come", is for anyone who's tastes range from U2 to Jane's Addiction. There's a little bit of everything here, atmospheric rock, folk, pop, and grunge. His own website describes him best with: "Michael Knott's evolving career has won him the mantles of rock and roll maverick, controversial alternative cult figure, and introspective troubador. His work has been released to the general market via Warner Brothers (Elektra Records), to the gospel market via Word (Metro One Records), and to both markets through several groundbreaking independent releases. This is probably dollar for dollar the best money you could spend on a cd, this has many great tracks from Mr. Knott, some only found here (Strung Guru's tracks 2,3 and 4 with Social Distortion's late Dennis Danell).
