My husband has been a diehard Detroit Lions fan for years, through the good, bad, the ugly and every Thanksgiving Day game. This was one of those books where he kept looking up and saying, "Hey, I didn't know this, did you know this?"

The writing? Top-notch but not surprising. We've followed sportswriter Paula Pasche for years and she continues the tradition in the book of exceptional and entertaining writing that's balanced. Like the way she looks at life and football.

Will be getting copies for the Lions fans in the family for Christmas and Father's Day.

Paula Pasche has been a respected sports writer in the Detroit Metro area for years. I'm excited to send this book to my nephew, a die-hard Lions fan, who is missing his Detroit Lions again this season as he was transferred to Kansas City over two years ago. I'm sure there is information in this book that even he won't know!

My boyfriend is a rabid Lions fan, and keeps this in the john for "sit down occasions" ;). He says it is fun and informative, and just right for the purpose. I didn't plan on it being for this rather odd purpose, but if he is happy I am too!

Great gift for the Lions fan in your life. This was a gift for my husband who mainly reads only sports related topics and the newspaper. He read it for a couple days straight and still refers to it from time to time. A great buy.

I think I finally nailed it for the brother-in-law, super Lions fan. I heard he was reading it, and he's not a reader. Yay! I did not read it before I gave it, but did flip through and it looked like short chapters, and pictures, too.
