4.0 out of 5 stars from Epworth Press, July 6, 2006
This review is from: Things Shaken - Things Unshaken: Reflections on Faith And Terror (Paperback)
In this timely and topical book, the author, a writer and broadcaster, argues that the questions raised by the events of 9/11 and its consequences cannot be answered unless theology is a partner in the dialogue. Osama Bin Laden's vision of an Islamic world is met by George Bush's fundamentalist Evangelical Bible Class. The secular western world is having to re-learn what once it knew, namely that religion is a major force in world affairs. The book offers a collection of reflections, some of which have been broadcast or published, updated in the light of recent events like the London bombings of 7/7.
