They were determined to amount to something – in George’s words “we just had this amazing inner… Read more in Amazon's The Beatles Store

4.0 out of 5 stars Beware, December 14, 2000
This review is from: Things We Said Today (Audio CD)
It was stupid of me to buy this CD--I didn't know it's only talking.

This is a CD full of interviews and radio station Ads and girls screaming, very funny, very real, (that's why I give it 4 stars) but no music at all. For baby boomer-Beatle Fans, this is definitely a classic buy, but for me, a teenager, it does not touch me at all, only boring....

5.0 out of 5 stars Good to Remember, August 31, 2002
This review is from: Things We Said Today (Audio CD)
I grew up with the Beatles. I used to grab up all I could on them. These interviews are a nice piece of "back then" and I love this CD. Good, I got that off my back. George and John are not really gone are they? As long as we can still hear their voices, they are not lost.

4.0 out of 5 stars Words Lost from Memory, August 16, 2001
This review is from: Things We Said Today (Audio CD)
Insightful? Perhaps. This is exclusively a conversation album. Yet the words are gratifying and nostalgic. The recordings echo very precious recollections. This is an ode to those cherished and fleeting times.
