It's Part of My Collection!!!
If you're single and waiting, like me, you'll find this book extremely inspiring. If you're tired of feeling down because of your current status as a single, you need something to lift you up and inspire you! I highly recommend this book, which I purchased at least five years ago, likely when it was first published! The one thing I took from "51 Good Things"...

You can't win
I bought this book for a friend and found that it was not a good book to send to her. The book talks about what you can do while you are waiting for the right one to come along. What it doesn't seem to point out is that some times the right one won't come along. Sometimes you are meant to be alone. If you are looking for a book to prop up your coffee table with this might...

If you're single and waiting, like me, you'll find this book extremely inspiring. If you're tired of feeling down because of your current status as a single, you need something to lift you up and inspire you! I highly recommend this book, which I purchased at least five years ago, likely when it was first published!
The one thing I took from "51 Good Things" and still do to this very day, is the celebration of my DOXOLOGY DAY! This is a day to set aside, (6 months prior to your birthdate) and reflect on your life, God's love, and giving to others! It changed my life...family and friends even know my doxology day...In fact, I'll be celebrating it this week, May 11th! Christian singles, it is important for us to live life to the fullest and though we know we should always "be content", we may struggle with that at times because we're focusing on the absence of a spouse. Well, THIS BOOK helps us to see that there are so many things for us to do with our "extra" time...This is a "must have" for your Inspirational Bookshelf or Collection! I'm glad it's on my shelf!!! Many thanks to the author Harold Ivan Smith!
