There are plenty of books that have things to do, but this one covers a vast amount of good-clean-fun things, horizon-broadening ideas, things to do every day and things to do on special days. The common sense ideas (teach your children how to set a table, how to write a perfect thank you note, how to make friends and be a good friends) are foundation-builders that might otherwise be forgotten these days. The family trips and things to do with the whole family at home are clever, fun (if you happen to be parents who are good sports and don't mind being a little silly at times); and the lists of places to go and how to make those places kid-friendly and fun once you get there--these are great for people like me who are busy, work full time, and want to make every experience memorable.

This book is just wonderful!! It lists 500 "Things to Do" with a full description and explanation. There are a few things on the list that we cannot afford to do but so many of the 500 are things that are free or very little in cost. So many of these things are so unbelievably simple!! We'll be using this as a handbook of ideas for years to come!

I was not wowed by the creativity of this list of ideas. But it's kind of nice to have them all in one place. Ideas are appropriate for any family. And individuals and couples.

This book offers some nice ideas of things to do with your kids. Some are obvious ideas that you've probably already done with them.

Bought this as a gift for my sister/brother-in-law. After looking through it at their house I was embarrassed I gave it to them. Overall pretty lame suggestions.
