Lots of neat ideas that kids can use with all different types of software such as word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and multimedia! The kids really enjoyed the activites and learned a lot! If you are looking new and exciting activites then you've come to the right place!

This book (I should say long brochure), really was not worth the money. Didn't tell you anything you didn't already know.Purchase the book for someone with minimal computer skills, and they were really disappointed.

I thought this book would be of interest as it has many, even 101 good projects however simple or more difficult, all depends on your computer skills and your willingness to try these projects. The problem is how old this book is now in 2011. It was published in 1998 and refers to Windows 95. So you would have to try and apply the directions to Vista, etc. It doesnt even mention Google or Firefox at all (as search engines). It was helpful to me for one thing. I was looking at how to draw and paint and the book mentioned Paint and Paintbrush. I went to my computers help button and typed in paint and the directions were easy and clear:Press start button type paint in search box, and click twice on paint icon, and presto it worked like a charm. I made a couple of sketches, and this alone was worth having a look at this book. Everything can be a step in the right direction. So this is good as a resource for ideas but i need an up to date one for Vista.
