This is an excellent "how-to" book for living life to the fullest. There is a lot of timely advice in here by Mr. Beals. It not only shows how being positive worked for him but how it can work for anyone who wants to make the most of every day. The world would indeed be a better place if everyone read this book and took his golden nuggets of wisdom and experience to heart. If I could sum up his book in one of my lines, it would be: "Do Good, Be Nice, Play Fair and Share." He does it all.

Readers old enough to have listened to AM radio during the Lone Ranger Era, and younger folks who spent Saturday mornings viewing TV cartoons are bound to enjoy the true back stage tales of broadcasting contained in THINK BIG. As one who worked in both fields I can attest to the authenticity of these anecdotes. The book is especially interesting when one considers that the peformer/author made it to the top through persistence and hard work and by adapting his special vocal characteristics to the roles that were available to him. This well illustrated publication is a must read for all true radio and TV fans as well as those who are seeking to utilize every ounce of the talent that they possess.
