Product Description

Grades 2 & up. Take your brain for a spin as you navigate through this logic maze. The goal is to move the colored tokens through the maze to their respective corners. To do this, you must pass through turnstiles, shifting walls to form new pathways -- and new barriers! Clever challenges exercise your strategic thinking muscles, as one turn may lead to victory or may leave you stranded. A great addition to our "Ignite Your Mind" logic puzzle series.

My 11 year old daughter loves playing this game.

The directions are pretty simple to understand and the kids can set up the game easily by themselves.

I do not get easily excited by many of the new games that come out. Too often, they depend on a factor of luck (e.g. rolling dice) or are repeats of other games.

However, I have been impressed with Turnstile. It uses a game concept not seen before, that of moving pieces through a maze of turnstiles to reach a destination. It is a game that requires strategic thinking and spatial reasoning. Best of all, the game is really fun to play!

We picked one up recently from ThinkFun. Since then, it has become a family favorite. Our children and their friends love playing it. While our younger child likes the way the turnstiles rotate on their pegs, our older ones like to see who can solve a challenge first. The game comes with 40 challenges from beginner to expert. Once you get past the first level or so of challenges, they will give even adults a run for their money!

In short, if you are looking for good value for your money and for something that will stimulate and challenge your mind, I highly recommend Turnstile.

This is one enjoyable game! Already in possession of other ThinkFun games, we decided to give this one a try and purchased two Turnstile games; one for us and one for the grandkids. After playing it several times, I would say the game ranks as one of the best that ThinkFun has produced. In fact, for its size (3x3) and relatively few number of pieces (1 to 6), it offers a considerable amount of strategy and compares favorable to other games that require larger boards and more pieces. It reminds me of RushHour in that pieces need to move around in a correct sequence in order to get them to a desired spot. Only, instead of moving cars back and forth, you push pieces through revolving turnstiles.

Although a new game, Turnstile has already received some great feedback. One review site (daddoes) rated it an excellent choice for parents seeking games that encourage critical thinking in their children. Additionally, the Museum Of Modern Art in NYC has decided to carry it which is quite an honor considering they only offer a small number of well designed games. Having played a number of ThinkFun games over the years, one thing they have in common is an attention to detail. Turnstile is no exception. You will find Turnstile to be a pleasant addition to your game shelf!

I've been a huge fan of ThinkFun Rush Hour for years - Turnstile is the newest addition to this line of logic puzzles and I'm hooked! Each challenge shows you how to set up the colored tokens and turnstile gates - then it's up to you and your brain to maneuver the tokens through the turnstiles and back to their respective colored corners! Lots of planning and sequential thinking needed, love that that stores in a drawstring bag for easy travel as this is a puzzle that will be coming on the road with me!

I thought this game was a great game to play- it was a very difficult challenge for me but I loved that. It forced me to sit and think through all the moves before I made my moves. I would recommend this game for people over the age of 9 as it was a super brain challenge for me and my dad. I always love the Think Fun games and enjoy challenging my brain when I play them at home and in school. Thanks for making another awesome game Think Fun!!!

If you like puzzles and mazes, you will love this game. It looks like an infinite of mazes on one small little square. Start with the beginners cards. You will see the challenge from card 10 already. And there are 40 challenges/cards. Comes with a little bag for storage and carry on. Could be used in a school Strategy Lab class.
It was between this and Distraction which seems more of a memory game. We will try it next time for sure! Have fun!

I was pleased with the difficulty, not too hard nor easy. I only wish that there was a way to find more challenges than what is included in the box

We love Thinkfun games and we have a few! Turnstile is similar with RushHour, my son's favorite. Instead of moving cars back and forth, you push pieces through revolving turnstiles. The directions are pretty simple to understand and the kids can set up the game easily by themselves.
Turnstile is fun and challenging for both kids and adults! Great great puzzle game!

I bought this game for my classroom. The kids love it and can't wait to play. I love how it comes with a storage bag. On the outside of the bag it lists the number of pieces, so we never lose any.
