This is one of those challenging-but-not-too-challenging puzzles. It's hard enough that you'll probably feel a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment at figuring it out, although you may experience some frustration along the way (but I think any decently challenging puzzle should have at least a few of those moments).I'd say this puzzle is a good beginner/intermediate puzzle for someone who enjoys brain puzzles like the Rubik's cube. Most people aren't going to be able to pick up a Rubik's cube and solve it on their own within a few days. But most people will be able to solve this one on their own within a few hours or days.

I loved this puzzle !Watching friends and family members attempt it, my conclusion is that the world is separated in two groups: those who get this puzzle (some quite intuitively) and those who don't get it at all; no matter how much explanation and demonstration you subject them to (LOL)!! You can easily find detailed solutions on the internet if you are of the second group! The construction is pretty good quality and the product works really well but a quick Warning to impatient people: don't attempt any move that require forcing a piece to move... if you have the proper method, the pieces move very smoothly and with no obstruction.... You simply need to be open to go one step forward and several steps back ;-) Enjoy !

Purchased Spinout for my classroom because my students loved "Flipside" and this looked similar... this one is actually a bit more fun because it's easier. They get frustrated with Flipside very quickly but this one can be picked up and messed with, and after a few minutes you get the hang of the pattern... but then to carry it all the way through is not too easy! Perfect balance between aggravating and simple. I highly recommend this.
