...how Curtis can take songs I've known all my life and give them that special touch. Pure genuis.

You should go check this wonderful talent out live - you will not be disappointed, I promise.

I have been waiting for this CD to arrive from the USA and it was more worth the wait.

Having heard several of these songs performed live, here in the UK, when Curtis was touring earlier this year, the Mose Allison "Everyboy Cryin' Mercy" was completely new to me, but so relevant to these difficult times we are all living through.

"It Amazes Me" is wonderful, as is the title track and "That's All Right" but the self-penned material is a welcome return for this long-time fan. Sentimental, romantic and yet timeless.

"Take Me Out To the Ballgame" is another unknown track for this Brit, but I like to have my horizons broadened :D

5+ Mr Stigers and Co., for yet another wonderful collection of songs.

This is jazz at it's finest! Buy it! Go see him in concert! He's wonderful!!!

Stigeres is back with his best effort yet. Stigers takes mediocore songs and spins them into gold. The two best cuts, the title track, and it Amazes Me. Curtis, you amaze me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Curtis does not disappoint. He is the king of cool, the sultan of smooth. When you see Mr. Stigers live or listen to his CD's, you know he is passionate about his work, that he loves the music and that he puts everything he has into every piece. And he's got a whole lot of everything. Just fabulous. If you're a first time listener of Curtis Stigers, even if you never been a jazz fan, prepare to be converted.

This is not quite so good as 'You Inspire Me' which I loved so much.
