I thought the book was so good, that I bought copies for both of my sons (who are 7th grade athletes) and for a couple of my friends. The principles in the book will apply to any student-athlete in any sport. I am hoping that my sons will absorb and apply as much of it as possible. It's old-school ideas presented in a way that a student athlete can understand and use the information.

This book is great read for anyone interested in basketball or life in general. The late Dick DeVenzio was a great writer and truly loved the game and life in general.

35 years of coaching experience by far this book is useful and the short stories connect with today's kids. You can't go wrong with this one as a coach or player
