Based on Steve Harvey's best-selling book, "Think Like a Man" follows four interconnected and diverse men whose love lives are shaken up after the ladies they are pursuing buy Harvey's book and start taking his advice to heart. When the band of brothers realize they have been betrayed by one of their own, they conspire using the book's insider information to turn the tables and teach the women a lesson of their own. The movie is directed by Tim Story and written by Keith Merryman & David. Contains all new music from Jennifer Hudson and Ne-Yo, John Legend, Kelly Rowland, X-Factor finalist Marcus Canty, Future, Keri Hilson and more.

what can i say about this album...hmm! well, my reasons for getting this album was not b/c of jennifer and ne-yo's collabo, but when i had seen john legend and luda's 'tonight' video, i knew i had to get this album just for that song! i will not describe in detail of the thoughts the song/video had going on in my head, but let's just say it's only for the grown and sexy.
besides the mr. legend track, the album is consistant and one of the best soundtrack for an all black cast motion picture in a looooonnnnnggg time. imo none of the tracks are worth skipping.
my stand out tracks are: tonight, john legend featuring luda; need a reason, ms. kelly rowland; won't make a fool out of you, marcus canty; freedom ride, keri hilson; same ol bs, ravaughn; fire, brandon hines; baby be mine, quadron; shake that jelly, billy wes (the beat is nice & it ain't the kind of track you're thinking b/c i sure did.); and of course the two classics fillers by earth wind and fire and the late luther vandross.
again, i will say this is a solid soundtrack and i give props to chrisopher "tricky" stewart for making it so.

As much as I like Earth, Wind and Fire and Luther Vandross, I could listen to them on their own. I bought this CD not for those artists but for John Legend's verse on "Tonight," Ravaughn's "Same ol BS" and Marcus Canty's "Won't Make a Fool Out of You." The whole CD was cool and I could listen to it as a straight shot. "Shake That Jelly" sounds like Chris Brown until you listen really closely but that's a good party song. I wish John Legend's song was just him singing though. Not a big Ludacris fan these days and that whole "light-skinned love" comment is EXTRA lame. I hate it when really good R&B songs throw a rapper on them when it's totally unnecessary. It takes the smooth feel away from the cut so I skip past him. Marcus Canty's song was smooth straight through. I've never heard of him, but I love his voice. I have blasted that song on repeat from the preview up until the day I got the CD. I could relate to Ravaughn's song, too. I think this CD compliments the movie well and would recommend it although I tend to skip around to the five songs highlighted in this review.

The Soundtrack is just okay, there are a few tracks that stand out. The song by Keri Hilson "Freedom Ride", is a very refreshing record. Marcus Canty's debut song is probably the highly of the entire soundtrack.

There is only one song that I really wanted, but I had to purhase the whole sound track. There are good songs on it!

I really only purchased the soundtrack for the John Legend track, but the rest of it isn't bad. The Marcus Canty song is great.

Think Like A Man

I don't wanna brag....
I bought this Soundtrack on John Legends track on this album. So catchy. I haven't really paid too much attention to the other songs.
